We are having a really beautiful day today, and I'm enjoying it. I'm out in the south west, so it looks like this winter won't be "horrific," but it's still cold inside the motor home.

Thanks for the post. I fondly recall 5-10 years ago when Joe Bastardi did the morning weather for whatever company he worked for and it was part of the morning drive show on WMAL here in DC. He gave good reports, threw in some humor doing them, and also gave weather history lessons. I miss hearing him, but glad that he has successfully gone out on his own. And that he isn’t among what I call “the globull warming mafia.”

This winter’s weather pattern. Joe looks for patterns that repeat. When warmers are yelling, “See! See! Extreme weather!” Joe says, “Nah, this happened 30 years ago,” and then he shows the charts.
