Netflix has neither of these selections. The TCM.com synopsis of Corvette K-225 makes is sound a lot like In Which We Serve, reviewed here on Dec. 24 of last year. Crowther compares the two at the end of this review.

Was aboard the K181 HMCS Sackville in Halifax NS Canada a few years ago. Conditions for the crew were damned crude.
The beam was so narrow that these things must have really rock and rolled in the N. Atlantic! Can’t imagine.

Per Wiki, it was released in the UK as “The Nelson Touch”. I remember this, it was about the “Flower” class corvettes.

The crewmen used to say that they rolled in wet grass.

The real K225
HMCS Kitchener (K225) On 16 July 1942 at Halifax Kitchener spent the next six weeks at Pictou, Nova Scotia working up.
She played the fictional HMCS Donnacona in the film Corvette K-225, released in 1943, the filming probably done during this unusually long working up period.
In September she was briefly assigned to the Western Local Escort Force (WLEF) before being reassigned as an escort for Operation Torch, the Allied invasion of North Africa
Kitchener was the only Canadian corvette to participate in the 6 June D-Day invasion of Normandy, escorting the second wave of American infantry which landed at around 11 am on Omaha Beach, then assigned as picket ship for the heavy cruiser USS Augusta which was acting as General Omar Bradley's command ship.

Homer. Does the “Henri French Restaurant” still have the same menu? Dinner from $2 sounds pretty good to me.
To: Former Proud Canadian
Apparently not there any longer. I could only find the following reference. Note the past tense.
“15: Was the address of Henri, a French restaurant described in 1940 as ‘fairly expensive, the table d’hote dinners beginning at $1.75, but the food is worth it.’”
