I just remember when Rush did it. Had to be around 1991/1992. IIRC, Kasem wrote an article or had an interview that espoused the extreme leftist viewpoint on vegetarianism. Rush sent him a can of SPAM in response. Kasem sent Rush a well taken letter where he mentioned his use of the can.
