I can't stand that song.

Sting did a good version for the remake, IMHO.

I was intrigued the first time I heard it and discharged it as bubblegum music thereafter.
Always turned it off or changed the channel

That song is the “Jeremiah Was A Bullfrog” for the pretenious liberal elite.
To: EveningStar
Always reminds me of the original “Thomas Crowne Affair”

(This is not a statement of fact. It is either opinion or satire; or both.)

It’s even worse when “Alfie”, or anything by the Association is played right after.

I remember the song, but I didn’t remember that Noel Harrison was the singer.
I remember him as Mark Slate, the partner of April Dancer in “The Girl from U.N.C.L.E.”

Police departments use to pipe “Windmills of Your Mind” into holding tanks & interrogation rooms until the suspect was screaming,
“I’ll talk! I’ll talk! I’LL TALK!!!!!!!”

It preceded BS&T’s “Spinning Wheel” by a year.

Rex Harrison’s son was 79? How old was Rex? I thought he just died, but I looked...and Rex died in 1990. Where has the time gone?

“Knight in Rusty Armor” marked the end of the original British Invasion, IMO.

In the dictionary that song is next to the definition of "
Fey."

I like 60’s pop songs but Windmills of Your Mind is pretty bad.
This thread is the first time I have heard of or heard the song. I can’t remember hearing it on the radio back in the day. Either the radio stations I listen to didn’t play it or I have blocked it out of my memory.
To: BenLurkin
I thought is was from “Man of LaMancha”.
