If Curly was alive today he’d be a very old and sick man.

After his stroke (1945?) he tried for awhile to continue but he was never the same old Curly. Shemp to the rescue.

Funniest man who ever lived (IMHO) and a hugh part of my childhood. “Gents Without Cents” is my favorite - it’s the one with the famous “Niagara Falls” line. It is also one of the rare ones when they get the girls in the end.

Don't know if they're on line, but you'll notice that he's a step or two ‘slower’ and not the familiar “nyuk, nyuk, nyuk, Curly.

It’s not well known, but Curly Howard was also an accomplished stage actor. He starred in the Broadway productions of OUR TOWN and A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE.

If you have Roku (a streaming device) or a Blu-ray player that has wireless, you can sign up for Crackle for free and they have all the Stooges shorts. They are also on YouTube as well.

My father shared the Stooges with me when I was very young (this was the early 80s). Every time I see them I think of my dad, and when he’s gone, they will be an eternal reminder of what my dad meant to me.

You’re welcome. Here’s another good one from another comedy team.

Last footage from Laurel & Hardy ever! After Laurel’s stroke and Hardy’s weight loss.

You will see a home movie that was taken at the house from stan. Ollie was visiting Stan in 1956. The footage is in color. Enjoy!

IIRC Shemp {Samuel} Howard {Horwitz} was one of the original three with Moe Howard and Larry Fine. He left and Curly took his place. Earlier Stooges have Shemp. After Curly retired Shemp came back. The reason Shemp was called Shemp was because their parents immigrated to NYC from Romania and their mom could not pronounce Samuel. It came out as Shemp LOL. Larry BTW was a professional Violin player before becoming a Stooge.

The One and Only scene that all 4 Stooges (Curly, Larry, Moe & Shemp) appeared in together.

Curly had had a stroke by this time and appeared in cameo.

In suburban Philadelphia, there is a privately owned museum known as "The Stoogeum", which serves as the headquarters for the Three Stooges Fan Club based in Philadelphia. The guy who owns it has thousands of items, including personal effects, props and costumes from their films, etc. The web site for The Stoogeum is as follows:

Wow this Youtube, they got just about every 3 Stooges show ever made on there as well as Honeymooners. Look at this, every episode...

http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=honeymooners&oq=honeymooners&gs_l=youtube.3..0l10.1532.3532.0.3566.12.7.0.5.5.0.173.789.4j3.7.0...0.0...1ac.1.11.youtube.v4-h59nh8LY

How is this legal? Or does Youtube pay a certain fee from the money they get from ads? But then I look at the music they have on there as well. Type in any song it comes up. Either they are paying a fortune in royalties or they must get their butts sued off
