Give me anyone except JJ for the title. Nascar needs p-a-r-i-t-y very badly. Very badly. The domination of the mega-corporate teams weaken the weekly competition and hence the sport.
Once Nascar, years ago, went to the same-body cars for all makes, they were in trouble with a lot of fans. A Plymouth used to look different from a Ford from a Chevy from a Dodge.....

I saw Richard Petty race several times. The last time was at the Daytona 500 some time in the early/mid 1980’s. He hit the wall coming out of turn 2 and broke his shoulder. The hit was so hard I could feel it in my chest.
I hope his team does well this week! Ooops, letting the cats out early. :)
Ya gotta love Richard Petty! I bought some Goody’s headache powders because of him. And they do work FAST!
