IT could be seen as the ultimate comfort food - alcoholic ice cream.
"We start with the beer as it is all about finding the best, most flavourful craft brews - and then build a flavour around them."
Because of its alcoholic content, you have to be of legal age to purchase a tub of the ice cream.
Mr Fleischer added: "The amount of alcohol varies by flavour - it depends on the content in the beer, as well as how much beer is added to the mix.
"Our current flavours range between 1 per cent and 3.2 per cent but sometimes our specialty, limited release flavours come out a little higher! "You must be of legal drinking age to purchase and consumer and we believe it's the first product of its kind.
"One pint of Frozen Pints ice cream is equal to one pint of beer - so you would have to eat a lot of ice cream to get drunk!"
So....I’m wondering how would a scoop of this beer ice cream go in a class of beer? A beer float?
I’d expect the alcohol would act as antifreeze.
my head just exploded in beer yummmy-ness
1973 they gave us a mini-fridge in our USAF barracks at VAFB.
Moments later “BeerFloats” were born.
Since they were “mini”, they only fit “essentials”.
So were they good? Do you still have them now?
Communism......they’ve been looking for a way to get back at us, and here it is.
My first thought, exactly. You must be a very intelligent person, like me.
I would put the scoop of beer ice cream in a glass of beer.
No....not a good mix on the palate.
Pretty sure it doesn’t matter which beer or ice cream you use, it doesn’t really work.
I always eat the eggs before I put syrup on my hot cakes if they are on the same plate. Some things just aren’t appealing with sweets. I would imagine beer would be that way.
Ummmm.beer ice cream with chopped beer nuts topping. :-)
Ha...me too. My friends think I’m nuts. Some flavors just don’t go together.
We did beer milkshakes back in the early ‘80. It was a college dorm party, what can I say. ;)
