USA Today Accuses Pro-Lifers of Putting Up “Legal Barbed Wire” Stopping Abortions
Life News ^ | Tim Graham

A glance at the top of Tuesday’s USA Today reveals an article at top right headlined “Texas abortion limits take hit.” Below, reporter Rick Jervis reported “A federal judge on Monday struck down tough new abortion restrictions in Texas.”

But then he said it was “a move that may galvanize abortion-rights activists amid the legal barbed wire unfolding across the nation.” This vivid metaphor — imagining the pro-lifers making America some sort of prison — is not in the online story (with a double byline that adds Michael Winter):

A federal judge Monday struck down key abortion restrictions in Texas that were to take effect Tuesday but upheld most provisions governing use of pregnancy-ending drugs.

In the paper story,. Jervis added the “The ruling promises to ignite a fight that has brewed in Texas between anti-abortion lawmakers and abortion-rights supporters.” Conservatives are always “anti-”something, while liberals are “supporters” of “rights.” The bias isn’t subtle.

My colleague Matthew Balan notes that the “barbed wire” metaphor might better describe abortion advocates trying to prevent pro-lifers from exercising their free speech anywhere near clinic entrances.

Also describes pretty well how abortionists dismember babies.

Birth control does not need to include abortion. Contraceptives actually prevent life.

In response:

USA Today endorses the killing of babies for conveniece.
USA Today backs killing babies.
USA Today endorses baby genocide.

What will USA Today do when the government decides that they can abort people deemed unnecessary and inconvenient AFTER they are born?

That moral slippery slope that they are sliding down now will only lead to death and ruin.

It’s this kind of vileness that made me stop subscribing to USA Today.

And Obama put up legal barbed wire that kept me from keeping the health insurance plan that met my needs and my budget. Since when is the law not ever “legal barbed wire”?

Silly liberals.

The left, including of course journalists, have adopted an Alinsky tactic, across the board, no matter what the pet issue is.

Graphic Fictional Descriptions of Enemies’ Opposition.

It is trying to evoke extreme, criminal images to invoke violence against their enemies.

It is purely fictional as verbal opposition is not putting up barbed wire, or literally taking food out of orphan’s mouths, or holding people literally hostage.

It is purely made to distort and use terms to make it appear anyone opposing liberal, socialist agendas are spoken of in terms reserved for the worst degenerates that actually do physically evil and wicked things to others.

This tactic needs to be stopped as soon as these people do it. Don’t put up with it, it is not mere name-calling, it’s about re-framing opposition into CRIMINALS, getting people used to talking about and viewing opposition folks as literal criminals,

so that when they actually start coming for all of us under color of law, they will try to do so “legally” as enemies of the state and will use the same kind of garbage language.

Wow, I’ll tell ya, thank goodness for this ONE federal judge who just made certain the killing of babies in TX will continue without any restrictions.

They just define away their guilt by saying that the unborn “really isn’t a baby”.

When my kids would talk about the “baby in mommy’s tummy”, one of our libinlaws would tell them that it wasn’t really a baby yet.
