Last time I was involved in a Craig’s List deal, I was backup. And armed. And not the only backup.
PS In Texas. Everyone was armed. Very polite transaction.
When I sell or buy something on Craigslist, (like getting rid of old stuff) I just meet them at a very public place like a convenience store.
That way both of us are comfortable with the transaction. Always has gone smooth.
my kid learned a very tough lesson on Craig’s list.
He wanted to sell a rifle
the buyer wanted to try it out and asked my kid to load it
my kid loaded it and the bastard took it from him, pointed it at him and told him to get the hell out of there
my kid is lucky to be alive
I knew nothing until weeks later
