Alligator Found Inside O'Hare Airport
NBC Chicago ^ | Monday, Nov 4, 2013

It wasn’t an alligator-print bag that appeared at a baggage claim at O’Hare International Airport, it was an actual alligator.

A new kind of visitor caused a stir Friday after the Department of Aviation said a small alligator was discovered at Baggage Claim 3 in O’Hare Airport Friday morning.

Officials said the alligator was spotted by maintenance workers underneath an escalator at Baggage Claim 3.

When the luggage was first accepted at the ticket counter, the alligator was less than a foot long.

Wasn’t it the Flintstone or the Munsters who carried an Alligator Bag when traveling? LOL

When I lived in Michigan the 11 o’clock news one night carried a story about one of these wandering into a guy’s yard up in Midland.

Authorities determined that some kids brought it back from Spring Break and quickly decided it was becoming too much to keep.

The guy’s dog cornered it in the yard and killed it. Must have been one heckuva dog!

It was a good idea at the time......and then you're several hun-it miles north on the interstate. Sure you've sobered up a bit and your heard hurts like hell, but the alligator makes for a great souvenir; and then he gets too big for your dorm room.
