What began as a simple traffic stop ended in a humiliating and nightmarish ordeal for a New Mexico man. It won’t come as a surprise to most people why the man has now filed a federal civil rights lawsuit.
The incident began on Jan. 2 as David Eckert was leaving the local Walmart in Deming, N.M. He reportedly failed to make a complete stop at a stop sign, prompting police to pull him over.
The officers asked him to step out of the vehicle and claim the man appeared to be clenching his buttocks, Eckert’s attorney, Shannon Kennedy, told TheBlaze. It is unclear why police removed him from the vehicle in the first place. However, because the cops believed he was clenching his buttocks, they took it as reason to suspect him of hiding narcotics in his anal cavity. Police officers detained Eckert while they sought a search warrant for an anal cavity search.
“What is so strange about this case is they held him with no evidence,” Kennedy said. “They seized him to collect evidence, to go on a fishing expedition on someone’s body.”
Upon securing the warrant, Deming police officers took the man to an emergency room, but hit their first snag when a doctor refused to perform the anal cavity search because he believed it to be “unethical.”
So police tried again at the Gila Regional Medical Center in Silver City, N.M., where doctors agreed to the search.
KOB-TV outlined the disturbing series of events that occurred next, details confirmed by medical records and official documents provided to TheBlaze by Eckert’s attorney:
1. Eckert’s abdominal area was X-rayed; no narcotics were found.
2. Doctors then performed an exam of Eckert’s anus with their fingers; no narcotics were found.

I think officers like these should pay out of their own pockets and in this case they should face real prison time.
When the warrant is granted upon probable cause, what was that cause? Clenching buttocks? That’s it? How could the warrant have even been granted in the first place? Is there more to the story?

In retrospect he should have let ‘er rip. BBBRRAPPP! Maybe that would have run the badgemonkeys off.
Maybe he had to go to the bathroom and THAT was why he didn’t make the supposed incomplete stop.
The really good news is that this man has a great case to sue EVERYONE involved. Possibly get 2 moron policemen fired, get a judge disbarred, a DA disbarred, and all the nurses and doctor’s medical licenses REVOKED. All of these morons have no right to be in their positions. They all have the common sense of a heartbroken teenage girl. They shouldn’t even be allowed to serve me a big mac.
The guy is going to be rich, and there will be less complete and utter morons in these positions.

Mr. Eckert just won the lottery. It cost him out the a$$, butt he won! 10 million should be the first payment.
I’d do this.
1.) Sue ALL places involved, the hospital, the city, the da’s office, EVERYONE who went along with it.
2.) Collect millions upon millions of dollars for being raped and humiliated by PUBLIC SERVANTS.
3.) Use said money to hire a team of the BEST DEFENSE LAWYERS POSSIBLE.
4.) Proceed to BURN TO THE GROUND every individual involved with suit after suit after suit for years and years and years.
5.) Use my money to put up advertisements all over the state with pictures of EVERYONE involved and the story. Make sure that everyone knows who they are wherever they go, and are HOUNDED and BROKEN DOWN FOR THE REST OF THEIR MISERABLE LIVES.
6.) By the end, I will have taken everything from each person involved, each officer, the judge, the da, and every nurse and doctor involved. And made SURE that everyone everywhere will know exactly what they did and who they are.
I would make it my life’s work to bring them all to the ground, by the time I finished these people wouldn’t be able to go to a soup kitchen to feed their sorry ass selves. They would be turned away at the door.
If you don't want the police doing medical procedures, you will not have the police doing medical procedures. Period.
What were the doctors thinking? You can’t operate on someone without their consent. Even that idiot judge’s warrant didn’t authorize surgery.

Well, if it was federal, they don’t prosecute cases that don’t have sufficient weight of contraband involved. Way more than you can stuff up your butt. A Customs or ICE connection to this would have protocols for body carriers that don’t resemble this.
