That’s a smart policy.

It clears cases, and allows police resources to be concentrated where they belong.

Same principle as decriminalization.

No,, and Yes.

It has taken far too long for the RNC to figure out the way the game is being played. But Va, last night should have opened the eyes.

Over the last several cycles, a LIBERALtarian gets on the ballot in a close race, and draws just enough to tip the scales,

The solution to this problem, is fairly simple.

The RNC needs to evaluate close races.

Find a loyalist that can speak libertarian lingo. Seed him onto the Ballot.
Have him seek DNC $$$$$.

A week out, “ we cannot prevail, but the Republican candidate is closer to our Libertarian values, so I urge my supporters to follow my endorsement”

You screw the DNC out of a few million dollars, they’ll quit that game.

Congrats againg.... Arlington County VA is now officially the wealthiest county in the U.S.
Just a coincidence, I'm sure, that it is literally a stone's throw from the heart of Tax & Spend Central.

Oh I have a meshugenner liberal story!!! (or is that an oxymoron?) Someone I worked with 30 years ago reconnected a couple of years ago and she is as liberal as I am conservative. She has several gay members of her family and is a supporter of abortion. So I noticed on facebook she had hit “like” on a photo of a candidate who is against gay marriage and is pro life. I almost fell out of my chair....she only hit like because the man was black. She has no idea who he is or what he stands for..... I did NOT correct her, I want all of her friends to see it. ;^)

A local radio news story this morning said that the VA libertarian candidate was funded largely by a big (unnamed) democrat donor in Austin, TX.
Just FYI.

That almost always how it happens. Republicans need to place the pawn first. Then tale the Dem $$$, then screw them. Then the Dens will not funnel money into that channel.

hahaha!
my SIL, new transplant to TX and Houston resident, is concerned that Wendy Davis may actually win there. There are women of faith who while they believe abortion is wrong for THEM, do not want to outlaw it for others. the bottom line is the stupidity of our fellow man. No one wants to believe they are that stupid, but they are, they really really are.

Your first mistake is to refer to Republicans as a monolithic whole, with the same goal in mind. There are those who believe that Rove, the GOPe, and Bill Bolling, lt governor who was POd that Ken got the nod instead of him, actively worked to aid McAuliffe to victory.

They can be stupid and lose.

Like last night.

Or the Angle race.

Or the 9 others in 2010.

That’s not a scenario, I put forth. It’s a cheap, reasonable strategy. They can keep losing elections on the margins, or beat the Dems at their own game.

Once you make the Libertarian suspect, dems will stop doing it,

I read something yesterday, not sure if the details are true, but it said that planned parenthood claims that abortion is only 3% of it's business...but if so, why are they closing offices due to the new laws in Texas? I need to research this a bit but thought it was an interesting question. If it turns out to be true then it is proof that that are only concerned with abortions, not health care.

Women who are that wishy washy about "choice" need to be asked if they don't care if the young women are forced into killing a child and if they don't think those women will suffer later in life?
