It was some sort of soup mix I fed it. rice, lentils oats. it didn’t eat much, but I figure it’ll survive ‘til morning. Dam’ thing actually banged on the screen door or pecked it. I heard the noise and found it on the porch.

Roosters aren’t really that much trouble. They just aren’t trustworthy not to gore you.

I was thinking the same thing as ThomasThomas. I don’t know if it’s true but would make sense. Chicken feed is millet, dried corn kernels & I’d swear there’s some hemp seeds in there.

We had a rooster wander into our suburban yard a few years back.We named him Speedy, next to impossible to catch. Cocky little fellow, would crow every morning. Sometimes I’d see him strutting back down the street back to our yard like he’d had a night on the town.
