British troops were stunned last night after a Royal Marine sergeant was found guilty of murder. We won't won't ever win a war since we are convicting soldiers for killing the enemy in the battlefields.
Sorry for the misspelled word in the thread title. Should be Battlefield.
Sorry to hear of this for a brave service member. It would be better to hold the health service providers responsible for murdering patients by withholding care. Note to 0bamacare supporters, you may be the next convicted mass murderers!!!!!! :) FUBO!

How they must miss the Iron Lady!
This only serves to embolden the enemy and lower the morale of the troops. A combination that can only end in defeat.
Victim? THE ENEMY!!!!!!!!!!
Wounded Taliban need to be killed. They can still set off a suicide bomb.
I get the feeling that we have been here before. Middle east instead of southeast asia this time. Same weak leaders.
War is hell, it is also insane.... how could it possibly be otherwise? It is also often absolutely necessary.
To hold a soldier's actions on the battlefield to a peaceful, civilian standard is just nuts.
Such thinking equates the necessary actions of warriors with crimes. Imagine what heinous criminals our wartime leaders in WW2 become if judged in such a way. It would make someone like Britain's "Bomber" Harris and our own Curtis Lemay into monsters.

you kill enemies on thebattlefield. you don’t stop shooting at them when you just wound them.

He was, when he was in charge of the CIA.
“The identity of the Taliban fighter whose murder was the subject of the court martial remains a mystery.
Described in court only as an unknown insurgent, the body has never been found.”
Ummm...God save the wench!
Anything worth shooting once, is worth shooting twice.
