Question:Is Global Warming Responsible For The "Early November Winter Weather" This Week?

Posted on 11/13/2013 6:23:49 PM PST by Cruz_West_Paul2016

And just as Obama "Apparently Passed" a global warming related piece of legislation, the entire east is already experiencing December weather in Mid-November. Are we all laughing? And will Al Gore postpone any scheduled "Global Warming Summits" till June? Us conservatives will be laughing at Barry and Al right thru April just like we have been since the winter of 2009!

I’ve seen it get about this cold about this time here for the past fifty years, long before “glo-bull Warming” became a byword.
It kills the ticks and chiggers.

Whether temperatures go up or down it's still our fault and we have to redistribute trillions of our hard earned money to tinpot dictators in third world countries to fix it.
Get it?
...

Okay, I don't get it either. I have no clue how that's supposed to work.

In a serious answer to your question, no. The Sun is unusually quiet right now. Less radiation means less heat for us.

I'm not sure of the record but low to mid 40s during the days is pretty normal for this time of year. We even had our first ice on the lake this morning.

I wonder if Global Warming caused the Ice-Age of 10,000 B.C.

18 degrees here in southern Michigan this morning.

Someone reported that same temp in a shaded area of Sweetwater Texas this morning. We were in the 20's in West Central Texas. Usually that occurs in Jan and Feb, not before Turkey day.

A little more seasonable tonight with temps right around freezing and highs in the mid 40s tomorrow.

The ice goddess chases the fire god away.

That's as good a summary of the "science" of global warming (or cooling) as I've heard........

Cooling happens, gosh, in ? WINTER !

November is still fall. Sept, Oct, Nov = Fall. 18 F two weeks before Turkey day in Sweetwater Texas is not normal. This is gonna be a nasty winter. We have extra atmospheric energy due to Solar maximum, but the maximum is weak (magneticaly). This summer was very mild even though we had solar maximum. 45 year record low for US hurricanes. Also a low Tornado activity year, even though we lost a few storm chasers at the beginning. So we have atmospheric energy being assimilated into an ongoing cooling period. Expect some nasty winter storms. Big time winds. Lots of snow.

Yes, it is WAY colder than “normal,” but the dropping of leaves and changing of colors is two weeks behind schedule. It has been warmer than normal some days...my lilac brush has been getting ready to leaf out.

The “weather person” has been wrong on most extended predictions here for the past two months.

I know AGW caused the Sharknado, and that was scary enough to convince me.

now wasn’t it cow/horse farts that were the primary cause of global warming? or was it republicans driving SUV’s?
