Complete tangent: I wonder if he's any relation to the Sandy Hook shooter? The wackjob that shot Giffords also prattled on about consciousness creating reality. If my wilder, more libertarian days of misspent youth taught me anything, it's that many just cannot handle this sort of thing, the perception of being divorced from objective reality or worse yet in control of it, whether it's philosophically or chemically induced. There's danger here, imho, both spiritual and physical. Christians be very wary, it's quite tempting to think that this is some sort of affirmation. The fruits of it have not been good, from Castaneda onward to today.

He doesn't wait so long to intervene in so many lives; He intervenes in our lives at the moment we are conceived, or at that time before time began when, in love and delight, He thought of each of us. Our lives are full of the touches of God. The very fact that your question moved me and others to respond to you is His doing. He gives us constant help and blessings and guidance, and it is only our stubbornness that keeps us from being aware of this, not any reluctance on His part to step in and act in our lives. We are each given all the grace we need to find the Right, to act rightly, to recognize Him and to draw closer to Him. He is not inactive in anyone's life.

But He's not going to beat you over the head. If you believe in Him in the same way you believe in the existence of gravity, then you're a robot, not a joyful and living child who has come to trust in a benevolent father.

This is fascinating stuff. I find it slightly amusing though that many great Christian scientists of the past had such strong faith without quantum physics. Isaac Newton comes to mind.

He wrote more about the Bible (he was an original Bible code person) than he did physics.

One thing I wanted to add to my post #52 re life after death, I received the strong impression from my father during his visitation to me after his death, that THERE IS LIFE AFTER DEATH, but in a spiritual form. My father was a intelligent man, well-read. Before he died, he was very despondent, but he did say to me that now that he was dying, he would learn in the afterlife if there really are extraterrestrials out there in the universe...my dad had a great sense of humor and and a curious mind, and he was very serious about this.

Bottom line...THERE IS LIFE AFTER DEATH. A SPIRITUAL FORM OF LIFE AND MY DAD WAS VERY HAPPY TO APPEAR TO ME AND APPARENTLY WITH HIS LIFE AFTER DEATH. Does anyone else have a visitation experience like I described in post 52?

Yes. There are two layers to His teachings - one for those with ears to hear and one for those who haven't evolved enough yet to understand the higher level.
