Ricardo Louis scored on a deflected 73-yard pass on fourth and 18 with 25 seconds left to lift No. 7 Auburn to a stunning 43-38 victory over No. 25 Georgia on Saturday night.
The Tigers (10-1, 6-1 Southeastern Conference) had blown a 27-7 lead but pulled out one more huge play to continue the biggest turnaround in major college football. From 3-9 last year, they can win the SEC West with a victory in two weeks against No. 1 Alabama.
Auburn's Nick Marshall heaved the ball downfield with two defenders around Louis. It bounced off safety Josh Harvey-Clemons and right into Louis's hands.
Aaron Murray, who had engineered the comeback with three fourth-quarter touchdowns, could only stare helplessly from the bench.
He led Georgia (6-4, 4-3) all the way to Auburn's 20 but his final two passes fell incomplete as time ran out.

Oh well, SEC won. If you ain’t got that patch on your shirt you ain’t nuthhin’ but a flash in the pan.
SEC Rules, everyone else drools.
Stanford loses to USC?
Auburn should move up!
Amazing what happens after you fire a bad head coach.
SEC is the NY Yankees of College Football.
Mizzou and TX A&M only add to it.
WAR EAGLE!!!!!
Sour grapes. We moved up.
That is the point ignored by many a Bulldog.
I was on a plane yesterday from Atlanta to Seattle. It had those little TV screens on the back of every seat. Well, there musta been a lot of Auburn and Georgia fans on the plane, and a lot of folks were watching the game. When Louis got that touchdown, everyone watching let out such a holler! People not watching, people sleeping, listening to music or something else; everyone looked up to see what the hell was going on, are we crashing? It was so funny!
Incidentally I came through Auburn on I-85 around 10:30 or so, many, many hours before the game. It was only slightly backed up on the Montgomery side, but man, the Georgia (westbound) side was already backed up to almost to 280! That traffic jam was 10+ miles long at 10:30 AM, from exit 51 all the way back to almost to exit 62.
Being nervous about flying (not fear of crashing, just missing my flight, etc.) I sure was glad eastbound was moving OK!
#6 in the BCS!
Truly unbelievable game. The wife and I were supposed to be on the Georgia coast with a mess of UGA fans but our younger daughter got sick so we had to cancel. I am thankful now because we watched all together the Miracle in Jordan-Hare. Should never have come to that but credit UGA with a great comeback (one man’s “comeback” is another man’s “collapse”). the next two weeks leading up to the Iron Bowl are going to be insane. I give us a less than 20% chance of winning but with this team you just never know. War Eagle!
Many AU fans live in Georgia. When I was in school there(85-89) about 1/4 of the student body was from Georgia.
War Eagle!
