Has anybody heard from our central IL Freeper, Graybeard58? He wrote this last Monday.

after seeing the devastation this AM, I thought the same...
Tornadoes went through his area this past weekend.
I know that power is out for good numbers of people in the area of Pekin, East Peoria, Washington, and Gifford. But it would be good if central IL Freepers get a chance to check in, let us know.
Well, one good thing about living in ****cago is that at least the tornadoes always miss us. We get the man-made disasters instead.

I though the same thing. According to the Peoria Journal Star there has only been 1 recorded death in Washington, Il. It was unlikely to be Graybeard58 since he is a senior citizen and the person killed was 51 years old. However, according to the article 100 people were hurt and 20 people requiring admission. I was out of state since Saturday morning, due to the passing of my step father. I just got home this afternoon and discovered that the power had been off for more than a day, didn’t lose contents of the freezers. No wind damage, other than a few small limbs in the yard and driveway.
Washington, Illinois is less than 10 miles from me and they were hit really hard but only one person lost their life.
