America Island is a tale of courage in the face of increasing government oppression. It follows a group of Working Wealthy Americans who recognize their liberties are being ripped away by a cabal of the Mega Wealthy and the Political Class.
The Working Wealthy are American entrepreneurs and business people who work six and seven 10 and 12 hours days each week. They are worth a great deal but they work for every penny, but they are being slowly squeezed by the Mega wealthy who publicly demand higher taxes and unionization from their bought and paid for politicians.
The Working Wealthy recognize that no amount of taxation and forced unionization can destroy the fortunes of the Mega Wealthy, but that even small increases in taxes and regulations coupled with forced unionization would cost them everything they own.
They come together and form what they call the Founding Committee. After several meetings and careful study they comes to the conclusion that there is no longer a future for them and their families in America. They make the fateful decision to establish a new country modeled on the principles of freedom America has put aside.
They negotiate the purchase of two Caribbean islands from the Dutch so they can start their own new free America. Nevertheless, the oppressive American government has other ideas and tries the Founding Committees leader Ogden Randolph for treason sedition and mail fraud. If Randolph loses he could be executed.
His choice of lawyer and the ultimate outcome of the trial will keep readers turning pages to see what twist comes next.
In the climatic final chapters the Governor General of America Island has to standup to the full might of the United States Navy. The courage and determination he shows will have patriot Americans pumping their fists at how the stare down turns out.
At 310 pages America Island is quick read and ideal as an E book add on to a reader or as a hard copy

Ask JimRob about rules on Freeper’s promoting their books.
I wasn’t sure if links were okay. I figured if Freepers liked the concept they’d just go to Amazon. Thanks for asking.
