H-1Bs from hostile countries working at the facility? Or more likely a simple accident...

Apparently according to a series of cross talk intercepts on the scanners....a number of gas wells have exploded.

Gadzooks! That's just up the road (I-35) from West where that suffered the fertilizer plant explosion back in April.

Prayers for the safety of all there—

Re: Emergency trucks rushing to County Road 418

Google map shows CR 418 is South/Southwest of Granview and 418 to the north dead ends at FM 916 where it shows a business named Specialty Rescue & Fire Service. Their website is at http://www.specialtyrescue.com/ and says:

"SR&FS personnel are trained in the latest cutting edge technology and methods in the business. We provide the best support and communication within the industry. Whether you need the standard course taught, service performed, or a customized course designed specifically for your facility, we can assist you in meeting your needs."

Flat to rolling hills in the region. Depending what knoll or berm your home is behind, an explosion at ground level might go above or around you.

Not good. Hate to see industrial accidents/failures like this. People just trying to eek out a living, and those in the region just trying to go about life.

Again, not good.

Hope there isn’t a big loss of life here.

Wonder if there is where they manufacture their oilfield explosives.

Shape charges for perforating guns, sample taker charges, primer cord, etc.

if not Haliburtons site.. is there anything else around there?

If a house blew up, could it have been a meth lab?

not sure how big of a boom you can get out of one of those.
