So Will Obama Bring Up Success Of HealthCare.Gov In State Of The Union?

Posted on 12/01/2013 5:54:01 PM PST by Cruz_West_Paul2016

The 2014 State Of The Union is likely to have excellent ratings being over 100 million Americans will be wondering or making bets on whether Obama will bring up any aspect of his health-care plan. Can anyone imagine if the week of the SOTU the site is still non-functional and not even close to one million enrollees? At least we will all be laughing at the speech being most Americans know when their leader is lying to them.Get your popcorn and Big Gulp ready! at least we will be watching Joe Biden fall asleep 23 minutes into the speech.

Just as surely as every five year plan launched by the Politburo was celebrated as a ‘success’ by Pravda, Obamacare will be celebrated as a ‘success’ by Obama.

If ObamaCare is still a disaster and/or Obama’s ratings are still in the 30’s by the time of the SOTU, maybe we’ll at least be spared the usual spectacle of Democratic Congresspersons converging on Obama as he walks down the aisle, hugging, backslapping, and fawning all over him to within an inch of his life, on his way to the podium.

In fact, if the ObamaCare debacle hasn’t ended by the end of January, Obama may well resemble a leper walking into the House chamber to give his speech, as Democrats cringe away from him in fear of being caught in the same camera frame with him. Will anyone applaud what he has to say? Will there be any standing ovations? This could be a major horror show for the Democrats.

If he does, I will be sure to miss it.

Never heard him say a complete sentence and do not intend to start now. Totally ignoring him works to preserve my sanity and keep rage tamped down.

You can be sure of 2 things:

1. He will use first person pronouns at least 180 times in his speech.

2. He will be at least 15 minutes late.

You and me both.

I get physically ill just hearing his voice.

I can’t even listen to clips of his speeches on Rush...I have to switch to the classical music station for a few seconds, and then switch back when I estimate that it’s over...for now.

He will frame it in such a way as to blame the screwed-over taxpayers, suggesting that we should be willing to sacrifice to make America better for all [through Obamacare].

since we’ve been lied to for 5 years already in January, maybe we could take up a collection to pay him to go play more golf that day instead of doing another speech ?

Will he bring up the “knockout” game, so popular with his constituents?

Cocking his head, pinching his fingers, making no mistakes about the bumps in the road, he certainly will boast imperiously.

If we ever have another President, and it’s a Republican, I would like to see the STFU Speech abolished. It’s a childish spectacle, as Scalia said recently. Let the President send messages to Congress from time to time. And let them be meaningful and substantive. But the Clap Fest must stop!

Of course he will. And like all pieces of crap that the tech industry has marketed over the years he will not note its flaws. He will trumpet them as features

If the republicans had any dignity they’d all walk out as soon as he insults them.
