Arctic ice cap grows 29% in one year
American Thinker ^ | 12/2/2013 | Thomas Lifson

A chilly Arctic summer has left 533,000 more square miles of ocean covered with ice than at the same time last year - an increase of 29 per cent. (snip)

...days before the annual autumn re-freeze is due to begin, an unbroken ice sheet more than half the size of Europe already stretches from the Canadian islands to Russia's northern shores.

The Northwest Passage from the Atlantic to the Pacific has remained blocked by pack-ice all year. More than 20 yachts that had planned to sail it have been left ice-bound and a cruise ship attempting the route was forced to turn back.

When the world is near its end, the Sun will scorch the Earth.

I wonder if the non-Science Climate Alarmists will still be blaming fossil fuels for global warming:

“The fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun, and it was given to it to scorch men with fire.”
Revelation 16:8

Will be interesting to see how they spin this one. Probably still caused by gloabl warming

Dunno about this one, but I *did* read an article not long ago that pinned the larger Antarctic ice sheet on global warming.

Must be tough to be an enviro-wacko. Twisting your brain into a pretzel has got to be difficult.

No problem spinning this. They just call it “climate change” now instead of global warming.

The film of the male with the frostbitten private part was not him. As far as both films of the two excursions on the ice, I have seen those films.

He has to stay healthy to make films in dangerous weather so a suit was made for him to keep him warm. He has used that suit also in Russian Siberia twice.

Before he took the older men onto the ice pack, he showed them the film of the fellow who suffered that frost bite in order to impress on them how important it was to button/zip all layers after urinating. It takes effort in way below freezing to get all that insulation back where it belongs and the male makes the mistake of thinking it will be okay to just have the layers there and not fasten them properly and the frost bite happens very quickly. Not much of that piece of anatomy is attached to the body so it can freeze very rapidly and once that happens the person has to get off the ice as quickly as possible for surgical care.

The medical man was there to watch for frost bite anywhere on the men.

Once Wayne made that first three month film on the ice pack, from then on when any company wanted to make a film in that type severe cold, they called Wayne to do it - that’s why he was the one to make the two Siberian films. There are special precautions that have to be taken for a film camera to work in that severe cold so he also instructs other film makers how to preserve the camera so it will work.
