Ancient Humans Had Sex With A Mystery Species

A new, improved sequencing of ancient human relative genomes reveals that Homo sapiens didn't only have sex with Neanderthals and a little-understood line of humans called Denisovans. A fourth, mystery lineage of humans was in the mix, too.
As reported by the news arm of the journal Nature, new genetic evidence suggests that several hominids — human relatives closer than humans' current living cousin, the chimpanzee — interbred more than 30,000 years ago. This group of kissing cousins included an unknown human ancestor not yet revealed by the ancient DNA record.
"It's implied it could be something like Homo erectus or similar," said Carles Lalueza-Fox, a paleogenomics researcher at Pompeu Fabra University in Spain, who was not involved in the research, but who was present at a talk on the findings given by lead author David Reich of Harvard Medical School at a meeting on ancient DNA sponsored by the Royal Society in London on Nov. 18. Ancient human lineages
Neanderthals are an extinct group of humans who lived between about 30,000 and 130,000 years ago. Despite their reputation as bone-headed dummies, Neanderthals were likely as advanced as modern humans in areas such as tool-making, though they were probably less socially adept.
Denisovans are a far more mysterious group. These early humans lived in Siberia and probably split off from the branch of the human family tree that would eventually give rise to Neanderthals about 300,000 years ago. Little is known about how Denisovans lived and what they looked like.

Like the face of God perhaps, Moses was only allowed to see where it has been, or the hinder parts of God, but never where it was facing...the angels have always moved onto another pin when we get around to examining the previous pin.
We know where an angel or even the spirit of God has truly been because the people involved were left in the joyous expectancy of hope, were spiritually and physically refreshed, or in the case of Mary and Elizabeth...soon to be pregnant with the two most important people of History!
A problem with that interpretation is that it ignores that the same word (nephilim) used to describe the offspring of the union, which is usually translated as giants, is also used in Numbers 13 to describe the giants who inhabited Canaan when the Israelites came to take possession of it. Those later giants are unmistakeably described as actual giants in subsequent verses, which implies that the first set, in Genesis were also indeed giants, and not simply a mating with Cain’s family.

The verses state they were created after their kind, not that they can’t reproduce with anything outside their kind. Besides, we have no clue what method might have been used to produce any potential hybrid offspring. For all we know, it may not have been physical reproduction at all.

Angels in heaven don’t marry, sure, but there is no statement as to whether or not they can reproduce, or to whether their not marrying is a strict limitation, or an act of obedience to some law. If it is simply an act of obedience, and the angels in question were fallen, then they may have chosen to disobey.

So, do you believe that just breeding with unbeliever females produces giants? I would say the fact that the offspring are described in unnatural terms suggests an unnatural union produced them.

There’s really no way of knowing, from the text, if the offspring was produced through physical copulation, or some other means. After all, we know that stuff like genetic engineering and artificial insemination are possible now, so there is no reason to assume that angels, with much greater knowledge of the workings of the universe, would not have known about them or been able to use them.
