An elementary school in Frisco, Texas is believed to be the first in the state to violate “The Merry Christmas Law” after they banned Christmas trees and the colors red & green from an upcoming “winter” party.

Boys and girls who attend the Nichols Elementary School “Winter Party” will not be able to make any reference to Christmas or any other religious holiday. Christmas trees are also banned—along with the colors red and green. …

Ironically, the school is located in the district of state Rep. Pat Fallon, the author of a bill signed into law in June that codifies the fact that students and staff are permitted to discuss winter holidays as they please. …

Oh, really ? Their 1st Amendment Constitutional rights says otherwise.

And I thought Frisco was a nice town.

I haven’t lived there, but when going to and through that town - one thing you go away knowing is that there is a WHOLE LOT OF MONEY in that town.

I guess money does not make one intelligent.

then exactly why are they out of school if it isn’t for Christmas. there’s no “winter” holiday in the federal calendar.

guess some teachers best get to work on the 25th.

some parents need to throw a Christmas party at the same time, different place

(so red and green make people feel like Jesus is trying to recruit them....guess they can’t wear blue or white or gold either, might seem like Hanukkah, and green is too Islamic)

You bet I would demand a School Board meeting on Dec 25th, and not show up.. I would also make them work on MLK day for a special school council administration rally for, Peace in Belize, or some halfassed reason..

This school is violating the First Amendment rights of its students. It’s definitely time to start throwing this scum in prison.

School administrators need to learn what tar and feathers feel like.”

According to the news tonight, this decision was made by the PTA, not the school administrators. Even when my kids were in school long ago I stayed as far away from this busybody group as I could. Looks like they haven’t changed over the years.

Apparently they’ve changed a little bit—now they can unilaterally set school policy. Since the school administrators are PAID to do that, they still deserve the tar and feathers.

Oh yeah, Frisco and Plano have turned into a Muslim bastion. That’s where Mohamed Elibiary, a Homeland Security advisor to our President, is from. He’s also a Muslim Brotherhood leader.

“Doesn’t sound like the Frisco Texas I knew in the mid 80s.”

It’s not. A lot of parts of Frisco from those days don’t even exist anymore. Old neighborhoods have been bulldozed to make room for all the McMansions and retail outlets out there.

Know somebody who moved there a few years ago. Told me lot's of Kalifornication's with piles of Cal. real estate cash were buying 2-3 homes at the time.

Bet there's lots of that going on in Texas, maybe it's why dems are saying it will be a blue state in less than 10 years.

They reap the benefits of an overblown Cal. RE market, F'up their state with social programs, run it into the ground financially, then spread like locusts to ruin other states...and bring their hate of all things traditional with them.
