Michigan St beats OSU 34-24. Looks Like Auburn and FSU for the NCAA Championship
I can’t wait until there is a playoff. I’m no MSU fan, but they are a more complete team than tOSU and should have a chance to play FSU. After all, tOSU was going to the big dance if they won. Is that fair to Auburn? No, and exactly reason why there needs to be a playoff.
Bama and OSU could play in the Sugar or Capitol One Nowls. I don’t think OSU can stay with Bama, and I’m saying this as a die hard B1G fan.
I don’t know. I keep wanting to write something snide about UM, but I am reminded of Mark Dantonio who has real heart problems. And I know of an Auburn fan who died of a heart attack this week. And a Bama friend of mine is in the hospital after having heart issues this week. So I shall behave myself. It isn’t easy!
This has been one crazy year!. Just Damn! We are all that.
Just hope for a Florida State win...can’t want another SEC champ.
And as for playoffs...MSU doesn’t stand a chance in a ‘normal’ year.
IIRC the Rose Bowl is always played by a team from the Midwest/Big10 and a team from the West Coast/PAC10. But I could be wrong, and things do change.
That would be one time I’d love to see Bama beat Urban.

You are correct. The Rose Bowl will be Stanford v Michigan State. The only time it is not is if either of the Big 10 or PAC 12 champs are in the national championship game. TCU took Oregon’s place when Oregon played Auburn for the National Championship in 2011.
Too bad MSU didn't find their offense till some games in.
Looking forward to Auburn/FSU...though would have liked to see a 'Bama/Auburn rematch.

I don’t think anyone wants to see AL slaughter the buckeyes. The OSU defense has been mediocre to terrible all season. I mean 1-11 Cal scored a season high 34 against OSU.
About a month ago, everyone wanted to see Oregon vs. Alabama. Maybe that should be the Sugar Bowl instead.

I can say that the bleach blonde bimbos in Florida are bleacher, blonder and more bimboee than the ones in Columbus.
I am also a B1G fan, well a PSU fan, just want a strong conference. I agree that tOSU can't hang with Bama. Bama's defense is strong like MSU and FSU for that matter.
I know it isn't popular, but defenses win championships. I may be proven wrong, but there was little defense in the SEC title game. That bodes well for FSU against Auburn (that was hard to write since I like Auburn.)
BTW, my perfect football game would be 4 to 2 in triple overtime ... and yes, I know where they place the ball in OT.
That would be a great game, must see. The Orange Bowl is going to be a stinker. It looks like Baylor v Central Florida. Baylor might score in triple digits.
I think Pac12 is just as good as SEC this year.
I would like to see UCLA, USC or Oregon play Alabama to test my thesis.
