"And I Carry" - The real face of permit-to-carry holders in Minnesota. A 2.5 minute video created to dispel stereotypes: http://youtu.be/8pTsEGeqTaE
Think you know who permit-to-carry holders are? Twin Cities Gun Owners & Carry Forum, with the generous help of Crucible Arms, put together this short documentary showing a cross section of Minnesota's permit-to-carry holders.

We need groups across the country to create and post videos like this.
Very, very cool. Love it! Thanks for posting it.

I second that!
I was told when I met with the DA's office that it was public record, but I'd like to keep as low a profile as possible.
I got my CCW a few weeks ago. Since then, I have found out that a majority of my customers and acquaintances have been carrying ALL ALONG.
I am actually late to the party.
It is funny to see some peoples reactions. I had a friend of mine ask once, “Do you mean every time I have seen you, you were carrying a gun?” She was not upset, because she supports defensive carry. But sometimes the reality of is a huge surprise to people.
It is going to take some time, but not too long, for the restoration of “gun culture” in society. And there is no discernible time when it happens, it just does.
These days, in Arizona, if there is some ordinary event, and you mention to a police officer that you have concealed carry, as often as not he will wait for you to “finish your sentence”; that is, it is as if you just told him that you were wearing shoes. “And...?”
Still, personally, I am not about sharing unsolicited information. That I concealed carry a gun (and a knife, which I strongly recommend to those that carry,) is generally just my business, like my carrying a wallet.
At the same time I encourage others who prefer open carry to do so as well, because they help make the cultural change, and gradually teach others that gun culture is not just generally non-violent, but helps keep the peace.
And “Blessed is the peacemaker...”
Jazz Bass.
I carry a Schecter 24 fret.
And a Taurus 380. LOL.
EXCELLENT VIDEO, THANK YOU FOR POSTING.
His father in law was visiting from Arizona, and we were talking about carrying, and he said he even has his pistol by his side when he watches TV or eats dinner on his patio.
There are so many illegal aliens near where he lives that he even carries when he golfs.
He said the illegals are an epidemic but the feds completely ignore the problem.
These US citizens are on 24 hour, absolute constant alert.
They are not safe in their homes, businesses, Churches, recreations, cars or any normal activity.
The border states are under siege and obama and his minions look the other way.
Yes. It is by my side as I sleep and as i type this on my computer.
What a sad state we have devolved into.
When I was young, we carried guns for hunting but never thought of them as "protection" from gangs of yutes or illegals.
As I leave my car, regardless of how fast the trip into the store will be, even for a gallon of milk, I always have my little friend with me.
I hope I never need it, but the down side would be to need it, and oopppppsssss, I left it in the car...uhoh. That is truly an ohshit moment.
I carry either my Beretta 92FS or my Springfield XDm .45 bi-tone as my primary, and a Kahr CW45 as my backup.
It is a bit sad, isn’t it?
I can fit a 38 between my 44s! :-D
