A newlywed couple in Pennsylvania killed a man whom the wife had lured to a rendezvous though an online dating advertisement, strangling him and stabbing him repeatedly, police said on Friday.
The pair, named as Elytte and Miranda Barbour, "just wanted to murder someone together," Sunbury Police Corporal Brad Hare told Reuters.
Elytte Barbour, 22, hid under a blanket in the back of their car as his 18-year-old wife Miranda drove to pick up a man she met through Craigslist at a mall north of Harrisburg on November 11, the Sunbury Police Department said in a report.
On Miranda's signal, Elytte strangled the man, 42-year-old Troy LaFerrara, with a cord while she stabbed him about 20 times, it said.
They dumped his body in an alley in Sunbury, where police found him the next day.
"It was pretty twisted," Hare said.
Miranda told police she connected with LaFerrara through Craigslist, which she used to meet other men who would pay her for escort-style "companionship," he said
Elytte was arrested on Friday and faces multiple criminal homicide and assault charges. Miranda was arrested on Tuesday and faces similar charges, according to local media reports. They were being held without bail.
After dumping the body, Elytte and Miranda bought bleach wipes, towels, and cleaning liquid to remove the blood from inside the vehicle, police said.
After cleaning it, they went out to eat.
Hmm...the family that slays together, stays together.
230 grains x 2
Now that group marriage is legal, this couple should marry the newlywed who threw her blindfolded groom over a cliff at a national park a week or two after the wedding.
Watching pre recorded Bonnie and clyde today. At least they did it for the money
We in the Hotel and Restaurant business were always intrigued by the lengths couples would go to have unique weddings and post marital plans.. This one takes the cake certainly.. Kids today, what will they think up next? :)
Dexter had a code... at the beginning.
They look like they could have fitted in “the Manson family”.
LOL! “Til death do us part (in jail)”
‘Bonnie & Clyde’ made for TV movie is one of the worst movies I’ve seen on television. Horrible directing, lighting, etc.. They also bastardized the story by turning it into a ‘girl power’ propaganda piece.
There are people alive today only for the simple reason that it’s against the law to kill them.
These would be two of them. This is not the first time they’ve victimized their fellow man.
You have to wonder where these people get their values these days?
Public schools, Hollyweird?
You build a big appetite after a night of killing and cleaning...
—my thoughts exactly—sorry I bothered to record it—waste of electrons-—
Another reason to avoid Craigslist.
I hope these animals get the treatment they deserve while in prison. Disgusting pieces of filth!
And another reason why decent people should avoid Craig’s List. Yes, there are legitimate ads on the site but plenty of freaks and sickos have a presence there.
See, I could never be a murderer. Too much cleaning for me, I’m a slob.
Join hands and sing aloud, “All cultures are the same!”
Barry has definitely “fundamentally transformed” weddings in the United States.
My wife said the same thing about me recently, only she used lazy and slob while besmirching my aim.
(Don’t toilets just clean themselves in other homes?)
Doesn’t the Wedding Vow states “Til DEATH do us part?”
ROFL Dang you beat me. Yep that vow they are really do take it literally LOL
Then there's the Karla Homolka story. She set up her younger sister, among a couple of others, to be raped and murdered by her hubby.
She plead out against her husband, and got a relatively "short" sentence, that is, she's out with the majority of her life ahead of her.
The solution is simple, my FRiend:
Get a urine-colored toilet!
“As I recall his girlfriend slipped him a wood cutout that he used to break out of jail. Talk about guts. Of course it may or may not be true.”
Nobody knows for sure how he got the fake gun. Some think that she slipped it to him, others think that he fashioned it himself in jail. They have the fake gun though, so we at least know that part is true.
"No creeps or other offers, please."
I remember someone once posted a picture of the actual Bonnie and Clyde here on FR. What inbred specimens they were! Why would anyone want to glamourise that?
Mostly homos on CL.
The dialog in BONNIE AND CLYDE was stupid, too. Plus, I hate movies where the narrator is already dead. How the hell is he talking?
As for this couple, it’s sickening knowing men would actually pay to boink that skank.
Noooo, direct them to the Middle East section, and cut em loose!
Looks like a Plain Jane to me, nothing special at all.
They aren’t paying for the boink, they’re paying her to go away afterwards.
Everyone needs a memorable honeymoon.
It looks like a injection molded piece of plastic to me.
Now that I think about it for the first time I’m surprised toilets made from recycled milk jugs aren’t mandated by some states yet.
I was really looking forward to seeing Bonnie & Clyde.
We turned it off about 1/4 way into it.Man they took
liberty with the story.Threw reality out the window
just finished it....I had it on the dvr. yeah pretty bad.
more than a girl power piece. Hamer was portrayed as a criminal. the death of B&C was portrayed as suicide by Clyde. they had a pro FDR advertisement crammed in there.
and the mysticism was total BS. I came for the weapons. BARs, Thompsons, nice little pocket pistols....big old hand ejector type Smiths...
could have been better.....
True, the craftsmanship looks shoddy, but that color is perfect camouflage.
If you like well-produced shows from the prohibition era, check out ‘Boardwalk Empire’ on HBO. Can get a bit graphic with the violence but the realism is superb.
I won’t pay for HBO. Such leftist bias much of the time as to make me feel dirty to give these enemies money to fund their un-Americanism.
I have bought videos for those individual programs I do not find offensive. I may just do that with the Boardwalk empire you speak of.
