Sorry, campers but that night in Chi-Town took a lot... out of me--

The only bright spot was I was seeing... triple--

Here are my picks for those who cannot read and me... who is so hungover I cannot type:

Hey, I need the money... to pay off my bookies!

If anyone has any contacts in Las Vegas...I'd be fascinated to know what odds one could get now for a Giants/Jets Super Bowl..

FYI..at the start of this season, one LV sports book sold 14 bets at 1000-1 on Auburn to win the national championship.

Here we go - crunch time in the NFL!

Week 15

Thu Dec 12 8:25 pm San Diego Chargers Denver Broncos. Can the Chargers come up with a huge surprise tonight? Nah. they may score a lot of points but Peyton and the Broncos will score more.

Sun Dec 15

1:00 pm Arizona Cardinals Tennessee Titans. Cardinals continue to hang around a playoff spot.

1:00 pm Buffalo Bills Jacksonville Jaguars. Jags continue their recent strong play.

1:00 pm Chicago Bears Cleveland Browns. The suddenly explosive Bears roll over the Brownies (neither Jim Brown nor Dick Butkus is playing...)

1:00 pm Houston Texans Indianapolis Colts. Surely theColts will beat the Texans. Surely!

1:00 pm New England Patriots Miami Dolphins. Pats continue their down-to-the-wire winning ways.

1:00 pm New Orleans Saints St. Louis Rams. Saints all over the Lambs...

1:00 pm Philadelphia Eagles Minnesota Vikings. Eagles continue to close in on winning the NFC Least.

1:00 pm San Francisco 49ers Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Niners.

1:00 pm Seattle Seahawks New York Giants. Seahawks in a cake-walk over the Jints.

1:00 pm Washington Redskins Atlanta Falcons. Wow. Who can pick a winner in this rodeo? Someone has to win so I'll go with the home team. Falcons.

4:05 pm Kansas City Chiefs Oakland Raiders. Chiefs.

4:05 pm New York Jets Carolina Panthers. Panthers get back on the WIN track.

4:25 pm Green Bay Packers Dallas Cowboys. No Aaron Rogers no Packers win in Big D.

8:30 pm Cincinnati Bengals Pittsburgh Steelers. Bengals pound the Men of Steel.

Mon Dec 16

8:40 pm Baltimore Ravens Detroit Lions. Which Lions team will show up? Which Ravens team will show up? Must win for both teams if they want to make the post-season. I like Flacco over Stafford. (If only the Ravens had Calvin Johnson!). Ravens.

Keep your eyes on my Chiefs. They may not have the confidence to beat Denver, yet, but it’s coming. Look for a Superbowl appearance in five years. Reid is the answer to this club’s prayers.

Dolphins - Pats seems to be the closest toss-up. Miami has home field.

Go Fins!

Last week's final second multiple-lateral 85 yard run by Steelers made me bark like a dog. Lucky the ref was watching his feet and called the out of bounds on the 8 yard line.

With Gronkowski out and that defense, #24th in the league, you must just be boasting. Honestly.

We’ll see. Losing Gronk was, if not devastating, certainly a serious concern. Still, many talented players remain.

I love my Chiefs, and if they went 2 and 14 for the year but those wins were against the Oakland Raiders then I'd still consider it a good season.

Having said that I hope my guys do unto Oakland what they did unto Washington in the first half last week. And in the second half, do it even more.

ken, giants eliminated. look at DAL DIV record and DAL vs PHIL in week 17.

NYJ odds to win SB were 1/750
giants 1/250

so odds to get there approx.
NYJ 1/250
giants 1/80

odds of both 1/(250x80) = 1/20,000

It doesn’t matter, Philadelphia will destroy Dallas in the final game.

If Foles keeps playing like he has, Philly could be a very dangerous team.

Many thanks for the link, and the info...I thought the Jints still had a mathematical chance..though infinitesimal.

FYI..many, many years ago, a now deceased family friend..a baseball fanatic, and a regular visitor to LV...when the Mets were formed..every year he bet $100 on them to win the WS..as a lark.....and yes..he had a ticket on them in 1969..they were 500-1..after they won the NL..he sold the ticket for $15,000, because he couldn't imagine the Mets beating the O's..He'd bitch about it every day until he died some 25 years later..

this is a rough draft of the AFC wildcard tiebreakers ... example, the JETS have the tiebreaker only over MIA, with NY-SD tiebreaker still to be determined, depending on outcome of games. [This actually assumes the tie is a result of a NY victory over MIA in week 17.]
AFC WILDCARD MIAMI JETS BALT PITT TENN SAN DIEGO
MIAMI - - - MIA MIA MIA
JETS JETS - - - - TBD
BALT BALT BALT - - TBD BALT
PITT - PITT PITT - - PITT
TENN - PITT TBD PITT - PITT
SAN DIEGO - TBD - - - -

However, today, I find I... was actually dating a set of triplets:

Ra... Che... and El... The Nichols Trips!

Indeed. I have no affection for the Cowboys at all and I would still break into Bender’s house to steal that jersey.

And I’d have to take one of the Rachel Nichols’ too, but tough choice. Maybe Ra, I’m into that fake looking red color. But look at El, and Che. She wasn’t named after Che Guevara was she?

Cutler is starting, my head tell me “Culter, Wally pipped by a 34 year old career backup? That’s crazy. Especially with Cutler in contract year.” And yet I was hoping he wouldn’t be ready yet. ;p

Russell Wilson is now a....Texas Ranger!! ;)

JAX (!!!!!!!!)

The day we were born, it was a real mad house. So, when the nurse asked what my name was to be... my Mother's Italian boyfriend at the time was hard of hearing and he answered, "Che?" Which is Italian for "What?"
