How can the middle class send their kids to college for four or more years when the Republicans have made it far too expensive with raising interest rates on school loans and wanting to end federal grants?”-——
God Lord people are stupid..
No Republican or Democrat for that matter, unless they are on the Board of any Coolege, has anything to do with the rising cost of College.
To this women I would say..im a network engineer..I make 6 figures..I went to a trade school not college. I lost an arm at 15 and never got any of those hi pay manual labor “men only” jobs you refer to...
Same here with me.
I worked fast-food during high school. Went to the Navy, got out and worked in the paper mills.
I've worked retail, light industrial, office/clerical, and restaurant, before getting a 2-year Associates Degree.
“This is why most college grads have the equivalent education of a 10th grader from 25 years ago.”
DING DING DING DING1 We have our winner!
“He didn’t need the degree to do the job he needed the degree to do the pay”.....so true..and the truth is one you learn what your doing and then you go to school..you know the meat vs the bs filler in class
Even with these low inflation rates for the past 10yrs, 500x would be a large amount:

Grew up in farming (hated it), did some summer construction jobs, went in the Navy and got out after 4 years, did various little jobs plus some NG/Reserves while going to tech college.
Got into the TV field, went to another tech college to learn to fix computers and later transitioned to the IT field.
I shot milk out my nose at that one.
I think they already cancelled Dirty Jobs.
I do not know where or when this “Student loan” thing started. I put myself through college working in a tire factory during the summer. I smelled like burning rubber for the first couple of weeks of the term (Really put a crimp in my social life) but I didn’t take out any loans.
Why is this even an issue? (Rhetorical)
I admire Rowe's ability to be so polite to these people. I could not do it. Willful ignorance offends me.
1. A BS degree in a hard field, math, physics, engineering, etc.
2. Several years of military service.
Gets rid of 90% of the dirtballs.
