Amusing parody of a programming language (I think). Feminists will be outraged that most immediately have issues with this compared with a "real" programming language, lol!

let me guess... one salient feature is that comparison operators depend on context and cannot be depended upon to be transitive.

Did the ‘?’ operator return different results depending on the time of the month? (Sorry, couldn’t resist. )

It depends on getenv(”HEADACHE”)

It’s amusing, but someone definitely has too much free time.

ROFL!

“Programs are never to be “forked”, as the word has clear misogynistic tendencies and is deeply problematic. Instead, programmers may never demand “forking”, but ask for the program to voluntarily give permission.

“Forking” will henceforth be called “consenting”, and it is entirely up to the program to decide if the consent stands valid, regardless of the progress of the system clock.”

Hilarious....why just the other day I was called a..."sexist" on some website.

Of course I quickly agreed that I am.

FANTASTIC parody!! I sent a link to the BitBucket page to my 20-y.o. daughter comp-sci major and she's currently cracking up over it.

As The_Reader_David pointed out above (#5) somebody had too much free time, but at least they chose to spend it in a way which enriched the world through humor!!

I am not certain. The logic escaped these cognitive capabilities beyond the first parse-ing...

It is even more amusing for those of us who had to study over and over again to understand the C, C+, C++, and C# language courses for all those years.

Straight logic is not readily defined in this "new" standard, it appears, which is fully in line with 'non-male' logic. (ducks!)

You mean (for us Basic programmers) the results of the For/Next loop depends upon the not-necessarily-consistent values assigned to both or either For and Next, not necessarily at the same time or in an identical fashion given the application?

I am not even going to attempt to try to post that in Assembly...

Actually, I did not manage to piece enough of the 'logic' of the 'language' together enough to make heads or tails of it, but then again I am a male and not expected to see much more than what is right in front of Me. Perhaps it depends on what the definition of "is" is...

Silicon and electricity are so, so chauvinistic! And it’s proven by the fact that we need the deadly poison, arsenic, to make it work! (And a somewhat less deadly poison, boron.)

*snicker* Please do not take this as a personal attack, mate, since this is only a reference, but you sound entirely too much like My ex when she decided that more honeydo's were called for.

A keeper:
