Has Anyone Noticed?,What?,No Annoying Snuggies Commercials This Winter?

Posted on 12/18/2013 2:51:34 PM PST by Cruz_West_Paul2016

Is this the first winter we haven't seen those pathetic snuggies commercials? Or are they only on local channels.Maybe they have faded away like Obama Commemorative Plates/Mugs/Coins. When we all saw the ads,we couldn't help but wonder, Why would groups of people wear that silly pajama at a football game, campsite, or at an Obama Rally. Does anyone know what happened to snuggies? Have they finally left the shelves of Wal-Mart and Target?

Now that is FREAKIN’ funny. Wish someone had produced one back in ‘07. Still can’t find one and the gal who released it got the Ron Brown treatment.

It would raise my confidence in the good sense of people in general if we no longer hear about snuggies because so few bought them.

If we’re talking about the same thing, I saw snuggies in Walmart just the other day. They “updated” the colors/designs .....

Actually, my mom got me one a couple of years ago. It is warmer than all but one (double) fleece blanket I have ... surprising, because the fabric isn’t all that thick. I don’t use the ‘arms’, just as a regular blanket .... and only in the house, not in public (it’s a really ugly pink).

I suspect Dr. Seuss sued them for copyright infringement on the "sneed".

"cirtificate" of authenticity?

Absolute strict limit of TWO PER ORDER!

If you need more than two per order, forget it Jack! Hit the highway! Take a long walk off a short pier! Taking a flying **** in an rolling donut, OK?

You can want more than two per order, you can need more than two per order, you can demand more than two per order, you can even pay for more than two per order, but by all that's holy on this green planet, two per order's all you're getting, got that sailor?

No, these stupid things.

FWIW, if you put your bathrobe on backwards, you have the same thing...and it doesn’t look nearly as asinine.

The hoodie footie ones are the pajama grams. It is so annoying. “Warm her up with the cuddly hoodie footie, then she will strip down for you” ugh

I’m sure everything is polyester. Sorry guys, not romantic.

But for me the worst repeated yeAr after year Christmas commercial is

“Gotta gotta get a Garmin - gotta gotta get a Garmin!” I would never ever ever buy a Garmin because of those ads.

There’s no room for Snuggies ads. All I see are MOR Furniture ads.

I've never seen that ad...amazing if it is common, and I heard that the Garmin is a good GPS system!!

There’s an ad for some computer program—I think it’s called PC Matic, or something like that—in which a customer at a flower shop explains to the owner how the program works. This same ad has been running for well over a year on Fox. Usually when it comes on, I turn the TV off or change to another station for a few minutes, because I’m so tired of it.

I find it hilarious the way they try to make the hoodie-footies sound sexy on the radio. That being said, I got my wife something very similar, cause I know that she will love it.

I used a snuggy just the other day- to wrap a rifle in so that it wouldn’t get scratched up in the car (It’s an heirloom- the rifle, that is- Marlin model 62 in .30 carbine).
