M&P has better customer service than Colt.
However, with a Colt, you shouldn’t need any customer service.
That may not be true in the future the civilian colt gun sections split off from the military production side last year. I don’t know if that will affect the quality of their line..
The big difference between the two is the quality of steel used in the barrel and the mpi fully auto bolt and carrier used for the colt.
What models are you comparing?
He told me that when his competition rifle started losing its accuracy (between 8,000 to 10,000 rounds), he would make it his practice rifle. He would then take his practice rifle and change the barrel and bolt (just the bolt- not the bolt carrier group) and make it his competition rifle. He didn't do anything else. He had one rifle with over a 100,000 rounds on it. So I think a properly maintained AR-15 will last a long time without modification.
(Sorry if someone's already said this; too busy to read the whole thread.)
oh ya, I can hunt etc with my semi auto .308 etc. I have pistols too. Kimber 45, and regular colt .45, revolver.
We can’t have anything with a barrel shorter than 4 inches.
Check your local laws, as always.
It’s a Glock mag acting as a paperweight.
