“It is hard to eat a healthy diet when you eat at fast-food restaurants often,...”

I don’t think that is an untrue statement. If you eat a lot of fast food then you are ingesting a lot of extra calories and fat that you don’t need to. And, as for a McD’s employee, I’d think they’d get pretty tired of the stuff pretty quick anyway.

I think their statement is pretty much “fast food is okay in moderation but don’t live on it” is pretty accurate.

Don’t know if it is still the case, but employees used to get one non-premium McD sandwich, small drink, small fries per shift.

Haven’t had a fast food burger in over 25 years and don’t miss them . We make burgers here at home in Japan but skip the bread . Rice or sometimes fries as a side dish w/ salad . Happy .

McD’s cheeseburgers are one of the best hangover cures I’ve ever found.

An earlier post included a guide for how much the chain’s low-wage employees should tip their au pairs and personal trainers.

No wonder they wanted $15.00 an hour!

McDonald’s has some healthy advice for its workers – don’t eat at McDonald’s.

Low fat, low calorie items are on the McDonalds menu. No one is forced to eat the burgers and fries.

At Subway it’s easy to overdose on the salt. The BMT? Even on honey oat bread it’s a stroke on a plate.

I worked at a McD’s MANY years ago and I wouldn’t eat that and it’s not cause the food was unhealthy.

If people knew what went on.....

If the story is true - it is a sad commentary on the way in which we raise our kids that we even have to tell them what foods are good to eat and what foods are not.

Dinner at home week nights with Mom and Dad and Home Economics classes should have taught them this well before entering the work force.

Extracurricular activities also interrupt this learning process too!
