Seems this is the only Military posting so far. This article cannot be posted they are sue happy. But it is a need to know for our Retired and Active duty Troops. Pressure needs to be kept on our congress. We all know BILLIONS are wasted in the DOD budget to line the pockets of politicians donors.
This is a LIBERAL written article, so take it with a grain of salt. They complain those who do not do 20 years in the Military are not getting Pensions. Well guess what any job you work at has that SAME RULE. Only gov’t employees in some cities get to retire with a pension @ 12 years. Memphis is one of them.
