This may be downplayed but it's actually a devastating blow to the Global Warming industry. These geniuses got stuck in Antarctic ice during SUMMER season there.
It would have been bad if it happened during winter in June or July but they were out to document the disappearance of ice during summer (duh) and got stuck in it!

Meanwhile on the ship the scientists, while waiting to be rescued, enjoy putting on some New Years Eve entertainment...

Sometimes I read this stuff that these people do and I can’t believe that they could be sane people. I am sure they would classify themselves as adventurous.

Where did we ever breed this kind of foolishness?

The real beauty to this whole fiasco is the *Warmist* did it to themselves.

They're a laughing stock as long as this goes on.

Got to be really eating their lunch.

Now there's some speculation that the Chinese icebreaker is also stuck, that's like the cherry on the icing on the cake :)

A three hour tour....
A three hour tour,

The weather started getting rough,
the tiny ship was tossed..

If not for the courage of the fearless crew
the Minnow would be lost, the Minnow would be lost

No, “contrarians” is what the climate change true believers call the skeptics when they’re in a huffy mood, which is more or less always.

The article is basically the Colonel Klinks of the climate movement criticizing their careless peer, who by getting the ship stuck in antarctic ice is playing the Sergeant Shultz role, and is making them look silly in front of the whole world.

Clearly, this story has gained traction for its irony.

Sadly, the spoiled greenie tourist and the global warming “scientists”, live in an alternate reality.

They are “true believers” and there is nothing that they can’t rationalize.

They will get more money so they can fit their presumptions into reality.

At the end of the day.

They hate Mankind.

I have been laughing about this since I first heard about it, I do believe God is giving us a laugh at the expense of arrogance!

The rich spoiled greenie tourists and global warming “scientists” are angling to abscond on the first helicopter flights out.

Can you imagine the in-fighting going on over who gets to leave in the first helo ? it will take at least 4 flights to get them all out. I wonder if some of them will go 'rogue' and eliminate some of their competition ?

I thought it was a team of scientists there to study the melting ice caps.

I think one of them is a 'scientist' of some sort. The rest are there because they wanted to 'be cool'.

With all the Global Warming it was lucky those morons took winter clothing for the Antarctic summer

Not really. These people don't buy their own clothes. They have 'people' that do it for them. Those people made sure they were equipped properly.

Meanwhile, the Lamestream media is still not reporting on the 20 yachts stuck in the arctic ice as they attempted to traverse the northwest passage, now “opened” by “global warming”.

The clown is now tweeting that it is "warm and wet" because it is 34 degrees.

The normal summer range for coastal Antarctica is 41 to as high as 59 degrees.

This is not a warm summer for Antarctica.

What’s the best source on that story? My understanding is that this was not a formal flotilla or expedition, just random groups of environmentalist goofballs individually buying into the Sierra Club’s nonsense and striking out on their own.
