I always like her antics with the WWF when I was a kid. She did some hilarious bits on “The Chris Isaak Show.”

In 1977, Lauper damaged her vocal cords and took a year off. She was told by three doctors that she would never sing again, but regained her voice with the help of vocal coach Katie Agresta.
