San Diego Chargers just kicked Ohio butt..
San Francisco 49s just kicked Wisconsin butt...On their own fields...
Right now....6 zip CA.. .
kicked butt? hardly
It wasn’t really frigid here in OH today.
Great going, but I’m not fixing to load up the truck and move to Beverly anytime soon.
The ONE THING Green Bay absolutely could not do on that third down was let Kaepernick get out of the pocket. Terrible lack of situational awareness there.
That was a very close 49er/Packer game... very glad the 49ers won.
Indeed... but the 49ers won! :-)
What did you write? San Francisco licked butt? Cuz, we all know about people from SFO.
kicked butt. come now forty niners had to work for the win. 3 points is kicking butt. boy oh boy!
Hahahaa how Ironic a bunch of guys Playing a team called the Packers! :0
DB blew the pick for GB...gotta make that play.
All the fair weather teams did well including the Saints in Philly.
Looks like the Packers beat themselves.
Tell ya what dude. You guys had a hell of a time in GB with them playing third and forth string defensive players.
.On their own fields...
Almost none of them are from Wisconsin.
Fudge packers beat the Packers, in other words.
Something that totally sucks about playing in 3 degree weather: Erin Andrews isn’t as close to naked as she usually is.
She looks a little bit like the Michelin Man today. What a downer
Should have said “a bunch of guys from San Francisco” !
Sf GB was a good game
I predict the Chargers will go to the Super Bowl.
Re: The 49er Packer game
I am not a fan of either one, so I didn’t care who really won. Actually I leaned GB because the 49ers play in San Francisco, and San Francisco is .... Well San Francisco
However, the announcers were so in the tank for Green Bay it was beyond annoying (Yes, I get it, at any moment Aaron Rodgers can come back and score really fast, enough already).
So I am kind of happy the 49ers won just to shut them up
When you live in California you have to brag when you can.
Next week the Chargers will beat the Broncos and advance to the conference finals. But the Niners will lose to the Panthers again.
Your Prezdent would say “a bunch ah folks from San Francisco”.
How’s CA doing, politically and economically wise?
All season to prepare to contain Kapernick and they couldn’t do it. Pathetic defense.
Hahaha he ain’t no President of mine!:)
I’m not a Packers fan, I only saw a few minutes of the first half. I just like busting fruits and nuts from CA.
Losers are cool too...You can still be proud, even though you appear so weak and wimpy..
If that occurs I'll root for the Saints or Panthers. If they're not the opponent I won't be watching.
Ha Ha HA! Now whose laughing @ whom? Putting regional pride aside, its amazing what focus and training can do. Both coaches likely said keep your mind on the game and the strategy, nothing else!
Considering how depleted GB was on defense and how hyped SF was on Defense, I would have thought SF would have easily ran away with a large, easy victory. As it was, they wound up having to kick a field goal in the waning seconds to win. If I’m a SF fan, I would be worried, because GB wasn’t nearly as tough as they could have been and this is a team the lowly MN Vikings took to a tie.
Let’s all be real here though, most of the players on these teams aren’t really representing the State they are playing for. They are all a hodge podge collection of athletes playing for the money. The SF squad had a better day in the end, but if you think Rodgers or most of the other Packers are going to be hanging out or living in Wisconsin for the rest of winter, you’ve got another thing coming.
(P.S. I live in Wisconsin, I like the Packers and the Vikings, but they are all temporary residents, when you get down to it.
“The ONE THING Green Bay absolutely could not do on that third down was let Kaepernick get out of the pocket. Terrible lack of situational awareness there.”
I agree. I’m glad GB “dropped the ball” on that assignment.
Circuses and gladiator contests.
You KNOW? Psst, the FR is no place to out yourself.
It makes us conservative heteros queasy.
You also seem well adjusted and classy /s
Not Sure if it hit 80 today, kind of a cold snap in San Diego.
San Francisco squeezes out determined Packer assault.
Film at 11.
ain’t that the truth
Some of the best football in years...
It was a good game. Love watching well played games and this was a goody (even in the cold .watching them try to catch their breath in that -15 degree weather just hurts)
SF barely beat an injury-riddled team that lost it’s star QB mid-season and barely won the division and limped into the playoffs.
don’t hold your breath
GB was 7-2 when Rodgers started, so with him healthy they were still one of the best teams in the NFC.
True. In NE Ohio it's been above freezing and raining all day. In Cincy it got into the 40s. Kind of like a cool spring or fall day.
Funny things is, there really is no "cold" field advantage. Anyone who's healthy and tough can work and play in sub-zero weather. People who move here from HOT countries can fit in just fine in the cold weather if they want too.
The Browns got beat by the Raiders in '81 in -5 weather. Fourth coldest game. Same temp as it was in GB today, but the Raiders still hung in there in Cleveland.
Never say, "We know what cold is all about and those guys from California don't." A lot of them DO and those who don't find out it bothers everyone the same way, so it evens out. Just tough it out and know you aren't alone.
