Gun Control

I am for the right to have guns. I'm a gun owner. But nobody needs to own an AK-47. They say these assault rifles are great for hunting. You can't hunt game with an AK-47. And if you're a responsible gun owner, why wouldn't you go through a background check? The only people who don't want background checks are fugitives, tax dodgers and terrorists.

someone told me that you can tape the return envelope on a box and seal it and send it.

That way they could get a big bill.

I have never been that bold.

“But nobody needs to own an AK-47”

Hey John, it’s called the “Bill of Rights” not the bill of needs. No one needs a Ferrari either but they’re not outlawed

“Take your pick”

Why does it have to be an ‘either/or’?

Hunting with AK-47s is like fishing with dynamite. Yeah, it can be done, in fact, it makes things a lot easier, but on some level, you are missing the point...

John Walsh is rich, famous and “connected” both politically and in Hollywood. He has not lived in the real world for decades. He is a
typical liberal idiot who simply cannot understand the difference between
rights and privileges. His opinion and a buck “might” get you a cup of
coffee in a shi*ty restaurant.

Don’t throw out the prepaid envelop ... place your read NRA, church, and other conservative materials in it (and really stuff it in) and return with a note asking them to consider the enclose materials. (should cost them a dollar or two for postage)

“someone told me that you can tape the return envelope on a box and seal it and send it.That way they could get a big bill.”

It was always my understanding you could legally only put in it whatever they send you. IOW, it would be a no-no to attach a business reply envelope to a brick. I do however, include the original envelope and make sure it is too lumpy to go through the sorter. Sorting by hand does cost them a bit more.

” But nobody needs to own an AK-47.”

Nobody needs to criticize people who want to own an AK-47

Don’t throw it in the trash! Tape it to something big and send it to them with their post paid envelope. Old phone books work well.

My dad sent Good Sam RV a chunk of granite about the size of a pet tombstone with a note, once again, asking to be removed from the mailing list along with “I have bigger rocks!”

The second amendment mentions nothing about hunting. Nothing.

I have regular customers in my gun shop that are always around construction sites... Every so often I’ll have them bring me a concrete block or two. I’m always getting stock in heavy cardboard boxes...

Any time I get something in the mail from AARP (or some other anti-gun/liberal outfit) that contains a postage paid return envelope, I send them a well packaged concrete block on their own dime.

They don’t learn, either... I’ve sent out more than one to AARP!

The 2nd Amendment isn’t about hunting, and it isn’t about self defense. It is about the people having the power to resist corrupt, unconstitutional government. That means people have the right to own guns that serve no reasonable purpose beyond combat applications. While an AK-47 might have other applications, it has proven itself as an effective combat weapon. The Founding Fathers would approve.

Because of the 2nd Amendment, and the wisdom of the Founders to see that citizens are the standing militia protecting our freedoms, we can argue our right to hunt and provide for our sustenance, and we can argue for our right to be responsible for our own safety, and the security of our life and property, which requires many different types of firearms, like bolt action rifles, revolvers and high capacity handguns. They fall under the broader implications of the 2nd Amendment, and our need to preserve our God given freedom and liberties.

I used to get them. I took the BRC (Business Reply Card), wrote FU-AARP! large with a Sharpie, and put it in the paid return envelope, and sent it back. After 10-12 of those replies from me, they got the message, took me off their mailing list, and quit sending propaganda to me. Eff ‘em.

They'll parse the Second Amendment all day long.

Why is it that these idiots never want to give up free speech?
