I see where this was removed from FREE Republic with the reason given by the 'moderator' as it being a rip off.
That's just not true. In fact it's a barefaced lie!
Do you people do any research before your arbitrarily remove an article of importance?
This was posted on GOP's site and credit was given to AP for writing the artucle, it then excerpted.

Marcella, your advise is very polite and well taken; however, in my particular case this has happened more than once and again without any diplomatic email to me. Well, once they (the faceless ‘they’) sent me a private note to tell me what happened then gave me a two day non-paid leave.
At my age and experience it’s long past time for those like me to be treated like sophomoric college students. I was a professor and know from decades of experience there’s a right way and wrong way to ‘enforce’ rules, even though they may be groundless.
Perhaps Conservative old history professors should indeed refrain from posting and contributing to on a site like this. And perhaps I have nothing more to contribute other than writing historical novels and pieces for magazines and book publishers which I do. I am, therefore, out of my league here and being much older than most of you here have developed over the decades a thinner skin when it comes to faceless criticism. However, I have the hide of a father gorilla when it comes to roaring and railing against the consistent sins of the evil left that threatens our very existence.
I do wonder how many more FReepers there are that are like me in that they’re older, more studious than many and need a place where their work will be read and appreciated and what they see and believe important, one way or the other, I must now admidt that’s where I belong.
So I say, Zot me, but I will get back the last payment I made towards running Free Republic.
The one thing that drew and kept me here was that John Robinson has exactly the same slant that I have on what’s happening to America.

That’s right up there with demanding prison demographics should be more balanced black & white. Which ever kid causes the problem should be the kid that gets slammed. To back off in blacks, thus increasing on whites is racist I think.
I am older than almost everyone on this board. Either you are young enough to be my child or you could be my brother. I am 80 and have been a member here since 2000. I write prepper articles on another website and those are well received, and my posts on FR seem to be well taken.
I'm old and maybe you are that old, but that doesn't mean we have lost our mental capacity to research and learn, adding to our mental store of information we have gathered through all our years. If you were a professor with a Ph.D., then our education level is the same.
I hope you won't leave, but instead, join me as one of the oldest here.

Get involved, Mr. Robinson and let’s not only take back the nation, lets streamline the people’s website. Why not you moderate at times and use only moderators when the responses expunge for those that are merely lewd?

you're stuck in your neo-ways, how about those of us who are so shoved into their old ways due to our oldness that we can never change? Most of us can see further behind our backs than apparent even you can! That's where our nation's history is.
I say then, get rid of us and only allow those neo-conservatives space on your website.
