Manning seems to have addressed that this year. He has found a pair of gloves he really likes.

Manning is prone to throw the playoff ending interception. If not Sunday, next Sunday

Yes, the Chargers will beat the Broncos in a close game. Peyton Manning has a poor playoff record against the Chargers. The Chargers are familiar with playing in Denver. The Chargers are hot at the right time, just like the Ravens were last year. Philip Rivers will play better than he did in Cincinnati last week. The Charger defense has improved dramatically in the last few weeks with the addition of linebacker Melvin Ingraham. The Charger offensive line has also improved.

Bolo ties are selling out fast in San Diego, and I will be wearing mine on Sunday. “San Diego Super Chargers....lighting bolts will fill the sky eye eye!”

Chargers are my second favorite team mainly because of Phillip Rivers.

Phillip Rivers on a mobile calls into the show to talk about the Chargers wildcard win over the Bengals.

I’d like to think so, but probably not happening. Peyton is just too much.

As a Raiders fan, I sincerely hope not.

They lost last year’s playoff game at Mile High. No reason they can’t do it again.

I’m one of the few who called Chargers last week, but this one is a bridge too far.

Why? The Chargers already beat the Broncos once this season...

The Chargers benefited last week from one of the most inept second half performances, not just in playoff history, but in NFL history. The Bengals were a far better team, and moved the ball at will. They are not even in the AFC elite. Bolts cannot count on such luck again. They will lose by two touchdowns.

If past performance predicts future outcomes, Manning will give them a chance.

I didn't say it was impossible, just unlikely. My reasoning against the Bengals was that the Bengals are in a weaker division, and that I thought Rivers was the better QB.

Neither applies to the Broncos. Too bad. I'd rather see the Chargers, though my first priority is to see the Patsies eliminated, which probably won't happen until next week.

I'll just leave this here...

Seriously, if the Broncs lose this one, the only people in the organization with jobs left will be Manning and Elway, and it would be 'iffy' for both of them...

” Then they will lose.”

Well, then that would be the Superbowl.

“Below freezing, it is said.”

That was disproved against the Titans on 12/9/2013.

“It is most likely that the Broncos will beat themselves.”

When they got beat, that is almost always what has happened this year. Penalties, turnovers, stupidity, etc.

That’s my take also. With four Bengal turnovers under their belt, and innumerable drive-killing/drive-sustaining penalties by the Bengals, San Diego was only ahead by 10 points until that last interception.

Re: I will wait for Bendy’s take before I weigh in.

You are a very, very wise man... Star--

But I cannot offer an informed opinion... until I do some serious research.

While I have uncovered that the Denver Broncos have some very... very good assets--

The Chargers' assets are more numerous... and they are willing to bare their souls.

So, this... will take some time--

And serious... drinking.

While I really, really appreciate... you letting me help with the research, Bend--

I must bring up that the question on this thread is... "Will the Chargers Beat the Broncos?" in the football game Sunday, not who has the best cheerleaders.

Oh, Mile High Manning will prevail... as I already said so on the NFL Playoffs Week 2 LIVE THREAD.

Well, that... makes sense.

On with... the research!
