And it seems Bono’s daughter Eve Hewson is here to stay, as she was spotted on the set of period drama The Knick on Thursday. The 22-year-old was seen in costume on the snowy streets of New York as a wedding scene, featuring Juliet Rylance, unfolded.

“She looks very plain”.

Her face doesn’t look like it has a drop of make-up and her hair is severely pulled back. Not sure of the drama but perhaps her character is suppose to look more “plain” than prettied up. Her picture with her parents/sister is a more modern picture.. she is very pretty IMHO.

The way the daughter is dressed in the period costume looks better than the rags they all had on in the family photo.

Those clothes are kind of awful.

I don’t see anything striking about this girl. She’s pretty, but so are a lot of girls.

It might be the protocol calls for sleeve rolled up on purse-carrying arm. I suspect under the circumstances they went all out to replicate period style.

I'm sure that Bono's daughter is a wonderful actress, in the same way that Paul McCartney's daughter is a great designer or Will Smith's son is a great actor.

It's nice that all the children of the rich and powerful celebrities get the breaks they need to excel in the industry of their choosing.

That way, they can be rich and successful celebrities on their own, and provide an entirely new outlet for the leftist message that the rich and successful are keeping the poor and unconnected from achieving success.

I’d like the coat if it wasn’t green. Other than that, meh.

Valpal1, thank you for pointing that out. Sometimes I notice things, but don’t look closely enough.

Fester Chugabrew, that is true. It could be the correct thing to do according to the stylish rules of the day.

It looks like the far coat sleeve has become uncuffed. The near coat sleeve is cuffed. The coat is quite lovely. Love the tailoring and the details.

“She has that little Irish girl look. She is lovely. Perfect casting.”

She looks a lot like her Mum, Ali “Bono” Hewson.

They sing songs about the injustice of the English against the Irish

And which song would that be? The members of U2 were protestant except for one nonbeliever. I think they purposefully avoided addressing the specifics of Irish/English politics. I don't know of any of their songs which specifically take on that issue.

I am a guy, not caring much for fashion, but that outfit is a beautiful.

Yah... Me too. I don't pay much attention to such things. But I do wish we could have a revival of some of these old period clothes... Beyond just a steampunk fad. They once had some great old coats and capes and hats.

one coat sleeve is tucked inside their glove

Good eye!

Hate to say it but out here in cowboy country they would tell you that the sleeveless arm is the one they use to check the (potentially) mama cows...lol
