I’ll be saving that for others to see. Effective ad.
Thanks.

If the driver of the SUV punched the accelerator, he'd have made it.

I see too many people on the roads who make a stupid maneuver and then panic by hitting the brakes and stopping or slowing down in the middle of the intersection.

If you're gonna do it....DO IT and stuff your foot into it.

But you are right. Great ad. And chilling.

Here is the most horrific ad I have ever seen. It's a British ad about not driving while texting.

Caution: Very effective ad, but VERY disturbing.

My 11yo daughter walked in just as I was starting that ad. She told me that one of her friends mom was texting and driving with her in the car. She will now never forget why that is a deadly idea. Why a person can’t pull over for a half a minute and text is beyond me, what could possibly be that important.

Just sent the link to my granddaughter (she’s 16, drives a Jeep), for sharing with her friends and family members. Very haunting video, especially the speedometer reading!

In days of yore I would make the occasional mistake driving, even once or twice driving through a red light. When that happened, I would look at the other drivers, shrug, and move on.

When someone in another car makes a daydreaming mistake that caused me to hit the brakes, my only thought is, "Hang the b#s*a%d!"

Remember when they used to play “horrific crash videos” in school, not any more it might traumatize the little darlings in school...

It’s New Zealand, the speedometer is in Kilometers per hours, so he’s going about 65 MPH.

They're driving on the wrong side of the road, of course there's going to be accidents!

I just made my 16 year old sit and watch it. He’s had his license three weeks and is going out for the evening.

Perfect timing, Morgana, thanks.

Thing is, at sixteen they are so young that if they were paying attention to their driving, they could most likely avoid the foolishness of other drivers because they can rect so much quicker than us at our ‘middle ages’.

A school where I sub uses it as an exercise for the town response team.

Cops, helicopter, wrecked cars, jaws of life, EMTs and, oh yeah, drama club to perform prom night skit.

Kinda cool.

My usual reaction is that line from the old Hee Haw show: "I don't believe I'd have done that." By now my wife says it before I do.

Powerful stuff for sure.Having spent 20 years working in a major hospital's ER and having had a an 18 year old niece killed in a car accident I'm more familiar than are many with the horrors of auto accidents. In fact this video is,at this moment, bringing back memories that I'd rather not re-live.

very powerful...

i am surprised at the number of people who cut someone off when there is no one behind that person... i have done that myself, and hate myself afterwards for doing it...
