The way the arches are constructed strikes me as an attractive nuisance. Kids will be getting up on them... and falling off them.

Well, I have been away a long time from my hometown. I didn’t know they had a bridge on 7th Street. Did they do away with the cobblestone?

Well now it has been done, because it had to be, nobody has to wonder if it is possible.
Mission accomplished. :)

Years ago I used to live in the Parkview Apartments behind the Kimball. They bulldozed them and built the new modern art museum there. Every time I visit that stretch of 7th between the Modern and downtown it’s more built up and snazzed up. Reminds me of some areas in Dallas but without that creepy feeling I get there, lol,

The arches look to be maybe 5 to 6 ft. wide so he had plenty of surface to ride on.

This bridge is by the old Montgomery Ward building on 7th street. The bricks remain only on Camp Bowie Blvd from University toward i30. :-(
The renovations on 7th street between University driving toward the downtown area is stupendous! You will not recognize anything in that area. Very trendy, preppy and arty farty. :-/

A lot of the streets still have the bricks they’re just paved over with asphalt, you can see the bricks when they do repairs.
