COLUMBIA, SC — Columbia Police Department Interim Chief Ruben Santiago said a man was shot and killed just before midnight Sunday during a domestic dispute between two men and a woman.
Police said the man who was killed is the ex-boyfriend of the woman involved in the dispute.
The woman told police her ex-boyfriend broke into a Randall Avenue Extension apartment Sunday night.
She also said she recently ended her relationship with the man because he threatened to physically harm her and her current boyfriend.
The woman said the two men began arguing when her ex-boyfriend charged at her current boyfriend who then pulled out a gun and shot him.
Police said the shooter initially left the scene but turned himself in and is cooperating.

maybe when they broke up they tried to remain friends, but he threatened her so she ended it all completely... or maybe when she ended it with the first guy, she was just friends with the second guy, and the first guy was jealous and threatening, so she ended it with him, and eventually started a relationship with the current boyfriend... :)
