Authorities say an Indiana dog breeder whose minivan broke down in central Ohio was transporting 62 dogs, some four or five to a crate.

Licking County Humane Society Executive Director Lori Carlson says the animals were stacked "bottom to top" in the van when it was discovered in the parking lot of a hotel in Hebron, east of Columbus, on Saturday afternoon.

Thanks for that video. It’s wonderful to know how kind some people are.

Daisy is a love.

Yes! Some of us humans are very kind and Daisy is living proof. She is a very Happy dog and I am sure a very loving one also. My wife brought a couple of pups home one evening after work, a brother and sister pair, who were headed for the pound if she had not adopted them on the spot. We were in the middle of moving from Texas back to Mississippi. They are now members of our family. We named the male pup Semper and the female Fi.

This  is Semper after my wife told him he better get with the program and start packing. He promptly jumped in my go bag and declared himself packed!

Semper and Fi are the sweetest things———they are so lucky to have you.

I’m from a Marine family also. :-)

Depends on how you tamp them in.

They got so many dogs in because they were clown hounds. That breed really packs in cars.

I once saw a car “full” of Chihuahuas.
It looked like there were 30 of them in there, bouncing around like popcorn.
There were probably only 5, but it looked like a lot more.

I stood there for a couple of minutes for the entertainment value.
