Another Arctic blast to hit US next week, shouts the Daily Mail. A new cold-front is expected to hit the East Coast on Thursday.
The upcoming front of icy temperatures is expected to bring arctic air to southern Canada and then move into the northern plains of the U.S. before moving to the Midwest and East Coast – each of which is still recovering from last week’s frigid temperatures.
Forecasters expect the first stage of the new arctic blast to hit the northern plains by Monday, the lower Mississippi Valley and Midwest Tuesday and Wednesday then the East from Thursday.
Weather experts expect temperatures to stay above zero in most locations in the Ohio Valley, central Appalachians, the northern Plains and the Upper Midwest.
North Central states and states in the interior Northeast, however, are expected to see temperatures at or below zero.
Additionally, anyone near the Great Lakes should also expect lake-effect snow.

The climate change cultists are trying hard to “prove” their latest BS that the abnormally cold weather in the northern hemisphere is the result of hotter temperatures in the southern hemisphere. Big play has been given in the media about very hot conditions in Australia. The high temperatures cited happen to be in the deserts of central Australia during their normal summer. It would be like citing high summer temperatures in Death Valley as proof of global warming. According to my brother-in-law living in New South Wales, Australia temperatures are more moderate than last year when New Years eve in Sydney temperatures were over 100F. He reports day time temperatures in the mid eighties, certainly not abnormally hot. The media has also cited the cute story about how zoo animals in Argentina were being fed Popsicles to keep them cool. Big whoop it is summer in the southern hemisphere and such temperatures are not uncommon.
Has the MSM called it Coldmageddon yet? I hate these stupid names.
Turn the heat off from October through April, and I’ll bet most of those people you describe will be DEAD.
I haven’t heard that hilarious term but I vote that they should start doing that.
