Video intersperses facts about PI as you listen.
Yea. It has nothing to do with politics. Enjoy.

Make a C&W version of this and you’ve got something.

Might take an eternity or more to finish. But once he did find that point he’d find himself at the same place where he started.

There are several different versions of PI-based compositions. I like the one from New Scientist, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOQb_mtkEEE, because it not only uses a note progressesion based on the number, but also chording driving by the digit sequence. And the instrumentation is very, very interesting, as is the use of portions of the sequence at different tempos at the same time.
Also, the New Scientist version is in a different key.
Frankly, sometimes I have problems getting both versions out of my head at different times.
I’m also seeing possibilities on building a science fiction short story on the use of a musical rendition of PI as a “culture pass/fail test”, similar to that used by the fictional Asgards in the Stargate SG-1 franchise, but using sound instead of writing. Could be fun.
Could, one day, such a thing be “music of the spheres?” Especially if...no, I’ll reserve that thought. No need to give away all of my idea...

It looks like cheating. The composer changes the octave arbitrarily (I assume to make the melody more euphonic).
That shouldn’t be allowed.
Now, what would be a fair way of mapping a number into the 88-key space, or even a 12-key space?

Depending on how calendar years are noted, isn’t next year’s pi day going to be unique since year 2015; 3-14-15 ... 31415?
