You know, reading this account of his final moments, I know we’re “supposed” to be horrified of how he died...
But I can’t help but be MORE horrified at the thought of his victim’s - a young, pregnant woman just married - final moments, and the terror he inflicted on HER.
To my mind, he gave up any right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness when he took her right to same away.
Moral of the story: Don’t murder people, you don’t get executed.
I vote for hanging. It’s more appropriate for scum like him than a firing squad.
1989 rape and murder and here we are 25 years later, countless tax dollars later. How the hell does this work anyway? How many freakin’ appeals do sc*mbags like this get? A thousand? A million? This is totally out of control. A quarter of a century to kill this POS when he should have been executed immediately after conviction.

Make the end so undesirable the crime doesn't happen.
Disgusting. The article was written so as to make us feel sympathy for the murderer. A baby-face sorrowful pleading face is supposed to make us feel bad and turn against capital punishment.
If this society really cared about human life, it would guarantee that murderers are put to death swiftly. With or without pain - doesn’t matter. Quick.
