Very succinct description of Obamacare.
I’d laugh if I weren’t crying :-(
This has been posted before but can’t be repeated too often.
For this of us who can’t pull up the video on our smartphones, what’s the one sentence?
Government Knows Best
very long, with lots of clauses
This country is ripe for harvesting...and perhaps the “War of the Worlds” type harvesting is no longer necessary in this high tech driven global marketplace. Indeed, all a country has to do is own our debt and then call it in, and voila, we are finished.
I work in a large corp in Los Angeles, and I see these young skinny pajama boy dudes, arms blazed with tatoos and sporting little cool hip goatees and oh so hip jet black hair... and these guys are just dumb... really dumb. Compared to the women who surround me, who in comparison show a genius in communication of an idea, any idea these guys appear to be 8 year olds. Words of wisdom issue forth such as: “like”..and “I’m all”, “and then he’s all, so I’m like”...
And these guys will be our warriers? I don’t think so.
After the violent 20th century, don’t these 25 year old children know how truly bad things can get? And healthcare is the main issue?? sheesh.
I fear for the future. It looks very bleak to me. I don’t see us ever winning another war. And war is coming, it’s always coming. And there are fewer warriors.
True men are not valued in this society, they are tolerated, and just barely.
Have to disagree.
The women are dumb too, really dumb.
It’s pretty much a universal condition of Americans these days.
Does anyone want to bet that good doctor will be audited by the IRS and harassed by several government agencies as soon as the Obama Administration figures out she is speaking publicly about the dysfunction and pathetic failure of Obamacare?
One Word Wouldn’t Suffice?????????????????????
My daughter works for a large company and manages a group of 20 something employees. She is in her 20’s herself. She says they are unprofessional, overly impressed with themselves and will not take responsibility for getting things done. She doesn't differentiate between male and female employees. The only thing she says is that females tend to portray themselves as victims whenever they are given something difficult to do and expected to get it done without making excuses.
I work in an office with all (and only) women.
Our boss put a weekly roundtable meeting on the calendar and it has become a forum for more whining, complaining and general BS than you could imagine.
It’s everone and they ALL are some kind of ‘victim’ of something... and the ones making the most $$$$ whine the most!
There is some hope.
I work with young men and women who are preparing to become deck officers and marine engineers on merchant ships,
oil rigs and so forth. They are focused and for the most part well disciplined. But they are attending a college where you need to to declare you major your freshman year.
It is not a place for dabblers.
What's their most common characteristics? They never make excuses for themselves. They strive to learn from everyone and everything they encounter. They don't expect favored treatment. I just hope they're the ones that become the leaders of tomorrow.
The problem is that the more responsible 20 somethings that I know are interested in mastering their crafts and advancing in their careers-a leader in government is not something they really want to do.
The term “Obamacare” should be changed to “Democare” because no Republican voted for it.
The Problem with ObamaCare in one sentence.
So let me get this straight. This is a long sentence.
Were going to be gifted with a health care plan we are forced to purchase, and fined if we dont, which purportedly covers at least 10 million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16 thousand more IRS agents, written by a committee whos chairman says he doesnt understand it, passed by a congress that didnt read it, but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a president who smokes, with funding administered by a Treasury chief who didnt pay his taxes, for which we will be taxed for four years before any benefits will take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a Surgeon General who is obese, and financed by a country thats broke.
So what the _____ could possibly go wrong.
Thank you for the sentence.
It sums it up perfectly.
‘seems like an increasing number of Freepers need to be spoon fed along with the general public. Disheartening.
Awesome. Thanks!
