Heard these liberal responses to Benghazi?
Self / Facebook ^ | 1/17/14 | Self

Posted on 01/17/2014 4:18:04 PM PST by Yaelle

Saw this on Facebook, a liberal responding to the Benghazi questions. Anyone seen this too?

To all Benghazi theorists.....Seven U.S. Embassies And Consulates Were Attacked Under George W. Bush.......2002: U.S. Consulate In Karachi, Pakistan, Attacked; 10 Killed, 51 Injured;2004: U.S. Embassy Bombed In Uzbekistan;2004: Gunmen Stormed U.S. Consulate In Saudi Arabia;2006: Armed Men Attacked U.S. Embassy In Syria;2007: Grenade Launched Into U.S. Embassy In Athens;2007:2008: Rioters Set Fire To U.S. Embassy In Serbia;2008: Ten People Killed In Bombings At U.S. Embassy In Yemen......and on whose watch was 9/11?

TOPICS: Military/Veterans
KEYWORDS: benghazi; democrats
When people start throwing these numbers and dates at you, how best and most concise to straighten them out that Benghazi involved THE STATE DEPARTMENT AND MILITARY INACTION including a stand down order, as well as a complete fabrication of the cause of the attack told by the administration to the American people repeatedly?

Typical liberal sophistry. There's no debating someone who is incapable of acknowledging a point in truth made.

Liberals don't do truth.

Bush wasn’t out campaigning saying, “Al Qaida has been defeated”...

Nor did he ever INVENT a story about “protest against a video”.

The ONLY person to be punished for Bengazi —indeed arrested in the middle of the night before the kleig lights of 4 news teams— was a guy who HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.

The transmit key in the coms room was keyed the ENTIRE TIME over the course of the eight hour attack, with them BEGGING for help.

With such a large op with so many personnel, WHY didn’t they have heavy weapons for the Bengazi defenders?

Cuz the emergency plan was to rely on massive AIR-POWER, which was why the SEALs were painting targets with designator.

THE SEALS WERE FOLLOWING THE PLAN THAT HAD BEEN WORKED OUT AHEAD OF TIME.

The ONLY entity to TOTALLY FAIL to do their job was the WHITE HOUSE.

Remind me, when did Bush deny any of those? When did he blame it on a movie no one saw?

Terrorists hit embassies all the time.

We don’t always claim it wasn’t terrorists. And we don’t always leave our men to die and order every possible rescue effort to “stand down”.

It wasn’t the attack. It was the torrent of lies after the attack.

Imagine The Lone Survivor had PERFECT radio communication directly to the White House.

Imagine that the White House had REAL TIME FOOTAGE of our guys being shot and driven over cliffs:

AND THAT THEY DID NOTHING TO HELP THEM —THAT was Bengazi.

American security and safety from Muslim murders and terrorists and attacks... are definitely NOT the current administration’s agenda ....

such as this amazing report in today’s news:

The best tactic is to ignore them. You’re not going to convince them that you’re right. Period. The only thing that can is a life-shattering event, and even that isn’t foolproof.

muir_redwoods:" Remind me, when did Bush deny any of those? When did he blame it on a movie no one saw "

When did Bush ever say : " I didn't know .. !!" At least he attended his policy briefings ..
and didn't have Nancy saying he was "the brightest guy in the room "..
because he knew better, and surrounded himself with pragmatists , rather than purely academics ,,..
who don't know their a$$ from a hole in the ground !!

“THE SEALS WERE FOLLOWING THE PLAN . . ...”

Reports that I heard, repeatedly, were that the two volunteer defenders that entered the fray and were killed were former Seals, no longer part of USNavy but employed by some other agency, either U. S. Govt. or under contract to U. S. govt., and of their own personal volition ran to the sound of the guns to render whatever aid they could.

True, though Bush did say the Iraq war was over or similar.... Now I can’t believe we had a president as “good” as Bush (and I was not a bush fan).

Yes, against orders. They upset whatever it was that was going down, and rescued a couple dozen people in so doing. We hear about the two embassy guys that died, but don’t hear about the 25 or so who were also there, who were rescued against orders.

Just to be clear, he never said the war was over. He was lambasted when he visited a ship whose mission was complete, and they had a banner saying “mission complete”.

That was the one where he co-piloted the training jet out to the aircraft carrier.

Ignoring their non responses isn’t good enough for our side. We need to engage and blow them away - even argumentarily.

In doing so, they have become true heroes, not just saving those loves, but helping to expose the non response. We were actively hanging our station out to dry and we might never had known if not for the selflessness of these two ,em, who messed up the WH and SD narrative!

Bullshit. GWB never said, inferred, implied, suggested or anything similar, that the Iraq war was over.

Take that line of crap and shove it.

And it is apparent that you didn't like Bush.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, for informing at least a few victims of MSM perfidy, that Pres. Bush did NOT proclaim that the mission of the U. S. in Iraq had been accomplished at the time of his greatly appreciated visit to the aircraft carrier.
The carrier command was celebrating the successful achievement of its mission in that conflict.

Actually, I believe that at that point the war was winding down, and we had the support of the Iraqi civilian.

Then Lyndee Englund, and Karpinski came up with humiliating photos at Al Garib prison, and the locals realized that they were being hoodwinked by the Americans, being thought of as a bunch of schmuck losers!

After that, no more statue teardowns, no more neighborhood applause, and another six or so years of street war.

No... Bush never said that. His prep people did allow a banner saying "Mission Accomplished" to shown in the background as W was giving a speech to a bunch of soldiers who were RETURNING from Iraq... soldiers who's "mission WAS accomplished".

But, he NEVER said the war was "over". It's hard to keep the FACTS straight, when so many lie about it. But, some of us remember.

What is missing is a detailed listing of the number of annual TV minutes that the Leftstream Media spent on each of the Military attacks, including Benghazi.
